Cool. I see my letter in the picture. Our family had so much fun at Bash I that we had to do Bash II. I expect nothing less out of Bash III. We have met some wonderful people at these events. Does anybody know if the local fair will have that full size school bus demolition derby this year? My kids are already talking about "Frank's Rocket Works".

I think we need to rename this thread. "Sex at The Bash III" I know I'm parking on solid ground.

Franks is this something we need to add to the schedule. I'm not sure if it's going to be a group thing. But it may be fun.

This rocket thing sounds fun. I've made homemade sky lanterns in the past. I could make up a few kits for assembly and decoration at the Bash (perhaps an activity?) . They are different from rockets, but could be good for a broader display (either that night or another).

For those unfamiliar with sky lanterns, here's a video of a family launching one:

okay, I'll work on that...

I have been checking The Big Butler Fair for a schedule update. They are still showing last years. The site says it always takes place during July 4. I will just forewarn everyone that my hosting duties will be go unfulfilled during the
school bus derby. There is no way I am going to miss that good time.

Mary we launched sky lanterns at the Pre Bash at Baker's Acres. They are very beautiful to watch sail of into the distance. There has been some investigation into buying them wholesale so each trailer could launch one at the same time. That would be sight for sure.

Buying them is cool too! If you go that route, an activity might be to let folks decorate them.

Ever have that Eureka moment? The sudden dawning of awareness? The old light bulb goes off?

Mary oh Mary, Were you offering to head up a sky lantern building workshop? Did I miss that semi offer? I think making them and then launching would be way cooler than buying them. If I read that wrong, just say so. We are looking for things to put down on the schedule.

I have been working on the entertainment. I want so bad to announce the first act, but we just need to nail down a few details. This act will blow everyone away and they will probably come in their Vintage Airstream. Stay tuned for this...
