Lovely time here at the Bash. Good to see old and new friends. A record heat wave means its about 1000 degrees but the well-considered move to hookup sites and surrounding shade make it bearable.

A big thanks to Ace and Frank for putting on a great show. Too bad work forces us to leave a day early.

Tom

We arrive home from the Bash. It is just as hot in ON as it is in PA. Thanks for the great time. This was a GREAT Bash. Keep cool everyone.

Just the bestest, most funest, most neatest rally of the WHOLE year. Thank you so much Ace and Frank (alphabetical) for all the work and time you guys put into making this "the bestest, most funest, most neatest rally of the WHOLE year." Great entertainment and site selection too!! Thanks again, Bill and Nora

A great time at the bash again.
We have wandered south on I 79 to Charleston WV where the temp was pushing 105 degrees. Proceeded east on 64 where we hit storms and had to wait while a power line down across the road was removed.
We have taken "refuge" at the flying J near Ashland ,Ky and will probably settle in until all the stuff on the radar goes away. The temp dropped 34 degrees with the storms

WHAT MY FRIEND BILL SAID!

a great group of folks , new friends and old plus wonderful planning and execution by the dynamic duo...

400 miles later we are feeling the gentle breezes off Lake Michigan ; we have NO memory of hot weather. (some
would say we have no memory at all, but we recall laughing a lot and something about FOOD...

Safe journeys to all.

We will see y'all next year if not before.

Actually proceeded West on I 64 not east.

Looks like it could storm off and on for hours, but at least it is cool

Ace and gang have made it home safe. Got the AS dried out after taking on a little water last night(water line came loose). You two bike people are always smiling and are a joy to spent time with. When Lisa and I grow up and hit the road. I want to be just like you guys. Happy and carefree!

Thanks for all your help and songs.

We had a great trip back, discovering (intentionally!) a new part of PA and even meeting up with Hank and Kathy before the MD border! We packed in so many memories this weekend and it made a indelible impression... A thousand thanks to Ace, Beth, Frank and Lisa (listed in alpha order, since you were all smashing in many ways) for the bestest of times. I'm still taking it in, but it was amazing!

I have been reading about this rally for a while now. I can see that this is a great rally and I would have loved to have gone to it, but my wife just had replacement hip surgery, so this year was out. Next year, I plan on attending- Hope to take the Airstream to DC to view the fireworks on the mall and then on to the bash.

Thanks Ace and Frank (and all the great people who made it happen) for another great rally.
We made it home after a trip to the Outlet Mall in Grove City and a lunch stop at the micro-brewery in Slippery Rock. The old Polara's brake lines all held together so we could stop at those places!
As we approached home, we realized we had provisions enough left over from this weekend that we could just keep on going, but duty calls and it's back to work on Monday. As a fellow camper says, "A bad day camping, beats a good day at work.". But the BASH was 5 FANTASTIC days of camping which is going to make the smile on our faces last for many weeks. What as great time we had!

Thanks Again !!!
