Really glad we were there!

Another big thanks to Ace and Frank for a great weekend! Riley really appreciated the "boys only" cart rides and the slip-n-slide.

We are particularly thankful for last year's bash and its attendees. If we hadn't had such a good time last year, we might have cancelled this year when we found out that we couldn't get there until Friday.

If we wouldn't have been there this year, we would be Airstream-less today. The first picture show the river lot where our Airstream resides, unless on the road, from May to October. The second picture shows the "guest" that dropped in on Saturday while we were at the Bash. The 3rd picture shows George's Airstream. We really should have convinced him to come along. And, if you look close enough, the fourth picture shows some debris from the tree, indicating that it would have landed on our front gaucho.

We are really, really glad that we made the trip!

Another great Bash is in the books, it was a great way to end a long trip.......thanks to the organizers their family's and all the bashers that chipped in, it may take a while for the grin to leave my face. It was nice to see old friends and make some new ones.
I got lucky by having the AS away from home, a hail storm hit here at the house....roof, siding and window damage to the house....dents and broken winshield in my other truck.

See ya down the road..........Bill

Thank-you Frank and Ace and all others that were at the rally for making it such a fun time. Enjoyed way too much food and drink. Movies, ice cream(home made), tie dying, glowing hot air balloons at night and rockets oh my!!!
Best rally we've been to so far. Don't think it can be beat.
Thanks again.

Dent pulling 101. Actually, anyone that had a dent got it pulled. The guys went around to every unit and pulled it if they saw it. Some even came back from Walmart and discovered fewer dents on their Airstream!

Kid pools filled with cool water were the order of the day for socializing. In this case, Doug just took his chair totally in the pool and awaited visitors.

I know that for a few people this rally is more work than relaxation. So from myself, who had a lot of relaxation, I thank all of you that worked more than you relaxed. I spent a lot of time reading, napping, socializing, eating, and true to my name sake, drinking wine. I discovered that the Bash is, one average, about 4 liters per day. Thanks, Hank and Kathy, for coming through on a shopping trip and replenishing our ill-calculated supply. Andrea and I were afforded the ability to do something that we rarely do these days and that is to let our kids out of our sight sometimes and to stay up late having fun with Airstream friends (special thanks to Tim, Ed, and Dave, and Becca!) that were there every night until all hours of the night.

Great Time, Thanks to All!

Thanks all at the BASH for a wonderful first time Airstream rally. The fun, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere with new friends for my daughters was all I could hoped for. Special thanks to Frank, Ace, and all the others who put so much effort into making this a great event. And thanks to all those with helpful advice and great tips for a first timer. Kate and Ellie send their love to all and look forward to tie dyes, rockets, and plenty of BASH Cab rides again next year.

I'll be at Floyd Fest July 29-31 camped at the Chateau Morisette off-site RV area, if anybody would like to drop by.

Cheers,

Jim
