This is the opporurtunity of the year! Vintage Airstreams, vintage trailers of all types, and even newer campers like us! From those attending last year, we heard that this is the place to be rally for Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota! - and visitors - pre-registered of course - are welcome for fun camping. I am looking forward to the Christmas in July theme - hello Santa!

Hi Everyone!! Santa and the Elves are working hard on the rally! We have found out there are 2 sites left, after that we would have to double up, which Santa could arrange in a pinch HOHOHO!

There are several things going on in town the weekend of the rally, people can stay at the rally site, and during free time can check out other things. All you have to do is ask one of the wagonmasters how to get somewhere, or if you want an escort.

If you like flea markets, we will show you how to get to them, or guide you there. Sat. there is a small farmers market across the river if you need fresh vegtables etc. Also if you want to try your luck, the Riverboat is across the river, the river museum is close along the river, swimming pool next to camp ground, as is a YMCA if you want to cool off.

Santa has been dealing with a few things this week, this video is of my neighborhood, both campers had some water damage, but everyone was safe, so Santa and the elves are busy planning again

Santa and her elves took the sleigh out today and had a great time shoring up all the great things for the rally...Its gonna be so much fun!! By my counter we have...32 days...8 hours....lots of minutes and seconds..lol... I wish it would hurry and get here...Maybe if I leave out some cookies and milk it will come faster??? 27 more days til the rally...lol...Counting the seconds..LOL...I so can't wait..Santa and the elves have been very busy putting the final touches on the CHRISTMAS IN JULY RALLY. Working in there workshops.. ITS GONNA BE A BLAST!!

In addition to the chocolate chip cookies - what can I bring?

I really can't think of anything Kathy, I think we have most things covered,unless you have a favorite jelly for your toast sat. morning, as we are having, omelets in a bag, toast and tators to start everyones day off. There is the potluck on sat. night, bring whatever you want

We have 2 sites left, they will be given back to the campground on the first, we have a good group 20 so far. I am excited, a bit nervous, and just hope everyone has a good time !!

Actually I am tired, had company all day swimming, and yesterday. I am glad it got put up though after 4 years lol. I am thinking of painting my trailer this weekend. Maybe green and red for Christmas.....................not lol

My goodness I don't know where the time goes, you guys should see my house, well maybe not, I have rally stuff in every room lol. Hope you all have a safe 4th!!!

20 units is Wonderful!! I really look forward to seeing everyone there - hanging around the campfire and lots of other things to chose from-

Raspberry jelly ,that sounds good. I am trying to find some tomato preserves. I use to make it but haven't for a few years. Maybe the farmers market has some, not sure why but have a craving for it. I should have asked people to bring a sample of favorite jelly, maybe next year. Each year some idea comes up lol.

For those that want to join, I have started a site for people interested in our rally and other things. One lady mentioned she thought she lost us, so I don't want that to happen, and started our own site.

I know we all belong to sites, but this is for us, as not everyone belongs to the same site, and we want everyone to get the information they need to keep in touch, so we don't lose each other lol. Where people can let us know about campouts, rallys, have trailer repair or restoration questions, post pictures, a place for camping friends to meet, etc. If anyone would like to join, it is open to all year of trailer, a home base so we keep in touch with each other.

Some folks that come to our rally also I am sure would like information on Airstream sites, etc. so feel free to ad a link to your group on the links page. Also if you are having a campout, or rally ad it to the database area.
