Hey all,
Any one going to be at the Bristol Race this weekend 8/22&23. We will be staying close to the race track and would like to say Hey. Also ,we grew up in that part of the country and could help with any local questions like area campgrounds, great local bbq or anything you might like to ask!
Abe
We will indeed be at Bristol for the spring race!!! We are staying at All American Campground. I am planning on arriving the Monday (3/28) prior to the race. Where are you staying and when will you arrive? It will be great to see other Airstreamers there, let's plan something.

I will be planning on the Bristol weekend,I have been staying at the Twin City drive-in for several years , not sure for the spring race,Where is the All American CG at?We could have a forums rally!!!!!!!! Scott
I have not been to Bristol before but am really looking forward to it. I am staying at the All American Campground which as I understand is very close to the track near turn 3. I have heard that parking can be a real challenge so I plan on going up on Monday before the race. Hopefully that will be early enough to get parked with out too much trouble.
I think it would be great to get together, a mini forums rally at the races!!! We can exchange cell numbers, or campsite info, or whatever ya'll think. When are ya'll planning to arrive?? Let's do keep in touch and try to get together.
And vajeep, sure hope your overlander is ready!!!

Teresa is the person I talked to at All American too and she was very helpful. They have 1000 first come sites as well as the reserved sites. I haven't stayed there before but have heard nothing but good from friends that have stayed there for years. And from the map, it looks to be right next to the track!
I got with my Racin group, its a go!!!! we will be camping across the street from the main front sign,if you pull out from the main entrance and turn right on the parkway you go across a bridge and to the left is a huge bill board,I camp right under it,my Airstream will be backed up to the creek,It should be easy to see around all those white campers, we will be within 150 ft of the road, we can exchange Numbers before we leave by private e-mail, Scott
Leo,
I will also give you a report from our "Mini Forum" Rallie. I am from that part of Tennessee. I think that the All American Campground (see link above) is one of the best, the campground is one of the closest to the track. A little on the pricey side ($218.50 includes tax) for the week, but its race week...
Will hope to see you in August!
Abe

Just wanted to see who might be attending this year? We have our reservation in All American Campground. The race is on Sunday March 26 and we will be in the campground for most of the week. Getting excited because this will be our first trip in 06...
