It's currently raining like a cow peeing on a rock. Supposed to taper off later in the morning, I hope in time for the backup derby. If it does, we'll swim over and watch the fun...

What a vision!

Sounds like everyone is having a blast. Have a small mudslide for me. Mmmmm.

Yesterday it was on the west side of the production facility along with a CCD and an Interstate. It was the final stop on the factory tour.

Here's a photo from this morning... rain.

Look close. It's a very large cow...

Row, row, row your Airstream, gently through the pasture...

Rich's blog on the event give great insight to what it takes to run an event of this size. And the fun they are having.

Well for what it is worth, this is my first Alumapalooza and I'll say it is exceeding my expectations. This is a blast!!!
We are meeting lots of forum members and just lots of great "Airstreamers". Everyone is nice, there are many interesting people and the events are fun. The "roving cocktails" (aka the pub crawl) are are good way to meet people too.
The factory tour showed us where our little Bambi was born.
Nice town, nice people, it is just great to be here!!!
The Airstream Life people are wonderful and I think they are doing a tremendous job with the event.
So far my favorite seminar was the Dexter axel seminar. I learned a lot and the mechanic in me was impressed.
The product feedback seminar was good, it shows that the company not only cares but that they listen!
It is raining now but we are happy sitting in our little 16' Serenity (no longer in productio )
I hope we can do this again! That is my vote....
Bruce

This is our first Alumapalooza and we are having a great time despite the rain and cold today. The lecture, slides and information about towing safely was very educational. The open grill has been wonderful; cooked our meals without having to get out the portable grill. Great job and kudos to the organizers.

You Rivets would be the perfect crew for helping every body get set up! We will do our best to be there next year. Have fun and safe travels back home. Call us and we'll meet you at Cracker Barrel on your way home. Better yet, stop and spend the night and we'll kill the fatted calf. And a PBR.
Hope to see you soon,
Annette & Joe

Parking crew

Dear Fellow Airstreamers/Alumapaloozers/Airforums Folks,
I had a blast welcoming everyone coming in the north gate again this year. Everyone we worked with was friendly and helpful. The people in this big hay field are top notch! Despite the rain and cold we are still having fun.
I want to thank everyone who came to my shiny, silver birthday party too. It was a great shiny day and what better way to spend the day than with friends who share hobbies!
Thanks to Mr. and MsRivet for hooking all of us up. Thanks to my parking crew friends for helping. Thanks Rich and Brett and the rest of the staff!
Hope we get to do this again!
Lou and Larry
