2013 dates are Aug 6-11 and it's in Oregon!! I'm pretty excited because that's close enough that we can go! The campsite is an RV resort with full hookups too! $205 for 5 days plus $130 per adult. Www.alumafandango.com for info

Yes my wife and I have signed up. We are still working and I have always wanted to check out one of these rallies, unfortunetly they have all been too far away for us to go. We belong to WBCCI and wanted to see how this type of rally is different. See you in Oregon!

Wow - I can't believe August is almost here... only a little over a week to Alumafandango!! We're heading out on that Monday ... camping along the way and rolling into the event mid afternoon on Tuesday....bringing the new Airstream...the 28 footer with the big bed

Woo Hoo -- less than a week to our roadtrip to Oregon -- work has been crazy so am really looking forward to some fun times with fellow streamers!! We'll have the cocktail lounge sign out at the event so be sure and stop by!!

It WAS you! We spotted an Airtream southbound on I-5 yesterday afternoon, just south of Mount Shasta. The truck license plate said something like Suzzee and I thought it might be you. We were pulling the scruffy looking 1971 25' Tradewind with a blue pickup (with a cracked windshield, as you can see from the picture).

Yep - that was us!! We stopped in Ashland sun nite to see a performance at The Shakespeare Theater and rolled home on Monday!!

We camped at Valley of the Rogue - the local wildfires kept people away enough so that we were able to get a site when we got there. It's a nice place to stop over and makes for a comfortable drive home to the Bay Area the next day.

Cool -- we camped at that RV park in Ashland out near Emigrant Lake -- Glenyan I think is the name of it...it was okay and I was able to get a pull through space a week out so was happy about that...we decided to tack on the day in Ashland and the play at the last minute...was very glad the smoke was better...it was pretty dense when we drove thru there a week ago!

WE are considering Alumafandango 2014. We've stayed at 7 Feathers and really like the RV park. One thing that we did not care for was the Casino mainly because of the cigarette smoke.

Could anyone comment on whether the seminars and other indoor events are held in the Casino or are they in the meeting rooms in the RV area, which as I recall are smoke free.

We went last year and had a blast ! They had some things at the RV park and the rest were at the conference center adjacent to the casino. It has a separate entrance so you don't even have to walk through the casino to get there unless you want to. I'm super sensitive to cigarette smoke and I don't remember it being an issue at all. In fact I don't think smoking was even allowed in the sessions.
