Online Photo Gallery

I just posted nearly 100 photos to an online gallery. It's enabled for both upload and download so you can download full-resolution shots. If you have any photos that you'd be willing to share, please use the upload feature to share them with the group.

Thanks to everyone for such a great weekend.

I'll live . . .

. . . but this morning I wasn't so sure. Thanks everyone, for your well wishes. I've slept all day and I'm doing much better than when Airstream Hobo talked with me. Many thanks to Amy and Steve for setting things up so I could stay one more night without moving the Airstream. I'm feeling well enough to probably leave in the AM. To ease anyone's mind who may be concerned, I DO NOT have the flu. Just a nasty upper respiratory virus.

Wow, the photos are great, everyone's! This rally was awesome. Steve and Amy, you really know how to put on a production. The Cape to Cairo caravan is certainly one to remember. Only those who have done it know the thrill of seeing an endless line of Airstreams in the rear view mirror caravanning with you.

Got home about 6 this evening, great trip with no problems.

The caravan and rally were wonderful fun, it was a superb weekend with lots of old friends and many new ones, great food and unique Airstreams.

Many thanks to Steve, Amy, Peewee, Mike Johns and everyone else who worked so hard to pull it all together and make it a truly memorable event. Great pictures, everyone!

It was truly an unequaled success!!!!

I'll get pictures posted tomorrow!

See you in Branson!

We got home about 6, after stopping on the way home at our other picnic. We had a nice afternoon, stuffed ourselves at yet another potluck and then headed home. I don't want to know how much weight I gained this weekend!
The cactus club loved the cake.

50th Anniversary Cape (Town)To Cairo Caravan and Rally

I don't feel like I had any drive at all - - departed Cape Girardeau RV Park at 11:10 a.m. and arrived home at 11:50 a.m. What a fantastic time we all had . . . well planned and executed. . . it was impossible not to have fun . . . and as always, I picked up some more knowledge from Pee Wee's question and answer session.

The photo below is of one of the last to arrive before the Caravans departure from the Shawnee Sports Complex, West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO. It was so much fun to see another '64 Overlander on the Caravan:

In the photo below, Caravan Departure is Imminent -- Shawnee Sports Complex, West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO.

In the photo below, the Caravanners are renewing friendships prior to Caravan Departure from Shawnee Sports Complex, West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO.

In the photo below, anticipation is rising as Departure time nears for the Caravanners -- Shawnee Sports Complex, West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO.

In the photo below, the final details are being ironed out prior to the Caravan's Departure from the Shawnee Sports Complex, West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO.

In the photo below, the departure of the Caravan is imminent. Shawnee Sports Complex, West End Boulevard, Cape Girardeau, MO.

In the photo below, the Caravan has just arrived at Fort Defiance in Cairo, IL.

In the photo below, is another view of the Caravan's arrival at Fort Defiance Park in Cairo, IL -- the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers can be viewed from a platform to the right.

A most memorable caravan and rally experience!

My family had a blast thanks to all for making our first Rally/Caravan a very memorable one. I enjoyed meeting everyone and hope to see everyone again. We made it home at 3pm and I'm now in Dallas for the next 4 days.

The 10mm lense is dramatic but one of my favorites is you, Soldiermedic, Suguarfoot & PeeWee plus the 2 dogs romping.

I posted a bunch more photos to the gallery, hope they all went in before I lost the internet to the rain . Wish I knew how to put captions on them but I couldn't figure that out and I was too tired to try last night. There are a lot of them!

Great! I tried to post them in order but that isn't the way they loaded! Hopefully everyone can figure out some sort of sequence!

I just returned from lunch with Pee Wee and Sugarfoot (Who is feeling much better). They have just hit the road and plan to stop in Terra Haute or Indianapolis. Going to look for courtesy parking for them.

I will also upload my photos within the next hour.

What we saw

Here is a picture taken by Amy that I found while uploading. Your view from the front.

There should be another hundred of so photos on Tinloaf's website now.
