Of course, there is nothing wrong with Imo's!
But it does get pricey by the time we get 30 chicken wings, tenders, pizza salad etc. Usually about $45 to feed this crew there.

hmmm....

Unfortunately I don't know much that is over the bridge out your way... But I do know that Fritz's is great for dessert!

You can take him to Imo's... I was just giving you a hard time. Places that I can think of are in no way near you, so give him a taste of the square, toasted ravs and such. It would be tough to define STL with one restaurant!

Have a great time.
Tina

Younger child has bailed on us, so unless she changes her mind (again) it looks like we will be attending kid free. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to her babysitting.

Well, since Tina was so concerned about Imo's, we hunted down a wildebeast, hippo, and babboon to eat. Grant's farm in St louis never knew what hit them. Then we went to Fritz's

The trip to the arch may be replaced with a brewery tour, but the times will decide that tomorrow.

No Bob, we aren't anywhere near a Teddy D's place, but had some nice custard at Fritz's.

Right now we are cooking and discussing old stories from the caravan.. Pee Wee is full of information that everyone will love to hear.

How about an outfit like this?
(Photo courtesy of Estate of Helen Byam Schwamborn)

P.S. Yes it's from the original 1959 Cape Town to Cairo Caravan. It occurred as they crossed the equator. Who is reenacting that moment? I assume it will occur during the caravan part of the Rally, somewhere between Cape Girardeau, MO and Cairo, IL (maybe at the state boarder crossing?).

According to Pee Wee this is Don Christie (then WBCCI #1986), a retired Bank President from Carmel, IN. Don and his wife Genevieve were official African Caravan participants and completed the full caravan (some folks dropped out early).
