I'm trying to talk Steve into me helping him haul is testing rig out the 50th C2C. He said that most everybody has seen it and it would be easier to do my trailer some other time. Would anybody be interested seeing Steve leak test my Tar Baby or is it old hat for you all (oops, I mean you guys)?

Let The Leak Testing Begin!

I'd love to see the test equipment in operation! I'm only one vote, but I have never seen the test performed. I can imagine how it works but it would be really cool to see it performed on site.

Hello all,

I am posting this from wonderful Chattanooga, TN/Ringold, GA where I am sharing courtesy parking with Ms. Sugarfoot. Nice to finally have a computer to post from again.

Per Bob's request, I will be performing a leak test for him at the rally on Saturday. In fact, I want to bring up some info for the event, but have been waiting till September 1st when registration ends. Aside from the leak testing, we will have an open hour after lunch on Saturday. We will also have a polishing demonstration from maccamper on Saturday. Not wanting to throw too much in, but if there is interest I may have a buck riveting demonstration on Saturday as well.

I have been reviewing some info on the event, and I want to let everyone know that we will be offering a "Lite" continental breakfast on Saturday morning. It won't be a Shoney's sit down buffet, but various cereals, juice, some breakfast breads, etc.

Only a couple more weeks to go.

Steve

Theme dress

Theme being the late 1950's in honor of the time period. Retro dress scores extra points and a prize

Steve

How many people are planning to dress up on Friday night? Just curious before I start yet another project.

Well, to be honest, I will be in present day jeans and tees. I don't have time to start a sewing project either. And on me, capris are hardly flattering.

OK, OK--the picture of the "Great Bawana's" did it for me. I'm signed on to the rally page, and will probably come in Thursday for the free boondocking accomodations. Will just have to sort back thru this thread and catch up on the details.
