Well Rod has decided he cant miss the rally, he is bankin on takin that trophy for the best chili in the airstream group this year!!!!Will be great to see everyone again ..and Ella, I want to do one of those state map kits for Ohio...save me one,....

I have been working on my Ella state block square. She sent it to me early so that I can be a helper when we all gather. I have sewn tiny little buttons in a whole variety of colors onto the "dots" of the state parks that we have visited. Looks very cool. Can't wait to see all of the great blocks that get made.

Just a heads up everyone, we are tweaking the Saturday schedule of events a little bit and moving the raffle to before dinner... we plan to sell raffle tickets from Sat 10am (After Im off pancake duty) till 4:45 and hold the raffle at 5pm! So if you are planning to bring an item to enter into the raffle, you can turn it in anytime! We will be setting up the raffle tables while everyone is at the chili tasting, so please turn in items before leaving to turn in chili! Thanks in advance!!! (We will gladly take them and hold them prior to Saturday if you wish.) Remember for every item donated, you get 5 free tickets!!!

1. Is there a rally fee?
Nope! We just ask that you purchase some raffle tickets for the Saturday raffle to help off set some of the rally costs!

2. Do we have to be a member to any club to join you?
Nope! We are equal opportunity glampers! Bring your airstream, white box, pop up, tent, or rent a cabin! Everyone is welcome so long as you have a good sense of humor, good attitude, and like food!

3. Do we need to find something else to eat for lunch on Saturday if we are not participating in the chili cook off?
Nope! Everyone is welcome to taste test, even if you are not competing. Keep in mind this is a state park sanctioned event so we are not in charge of it. When the chili runs out, the taste testing is over.

4. Who do I see to pay for my rally t-shirt? What do I do if I want to order one?

Please find Loren or Mike to pay. Cash, check, & credit card is accepted! If you want to order a shirt we are placing a large order prior to the rally. Orders are due by Sept 28th! We order on the 29th! After this time, you will have to pay a higher price per shirt to order.

Loren, I think it's a great idea to have the raffle before dinner! I think it will be more relaxing for you.....plus, you'll have daylight to read the numbers on the tickets! Yay!

Will there be trick or treat this year? and when?

I just got off the phone with the park manager. They are discussing when they want to do it trick or treat. they know they want to but unsure of time. So that may be a last minute thing. I will update when they let me know!

We had an impromptu pre-rally at Buck Creek state park this weekend. We met up with ceebeth on some bike trips. We didn't realize we were both at the anniversary rally together last year! A testament to a good and big rally!
