This sounds like a great fall weekend. The Wife has to work through September of 2014. I will put it on our calendar for next year. Hope to meet all yawl before then.

Most of us just camp for the weekend. You should come on down even for just dinner, your only about an hour and a half away!

I'll buy the first hot chocolate!

We have a few who drive in just for the day. I agree with Dan. If you can't make it to camp, we would enjoy meeting you for the day!

We are bringing a donation for the auction (I forget what you call it), if yo want it. Frank bought me an Airstream t-shirt a couple of years ago, but it was too big. We forgot to return it, so we thought we'd donate it, never worn.

Of course we want it! Its a raffle. We like old like new parts, new items, so on so forth. One mans junk is another mans treasure! Keep it campable is all we ask!

Remember these scenes from last year’s Anniversary Rally – when Sue taught us the paper piecing quilting technique? Who would have thought that the ladies would set up an entire craft room in the great outdoors – at the end of October! Thinking back to that successful crafting project, I am planning to share a simple craft this year with those that might be interested. This seamless pillowcase sews up quickly with just three seams and offers options for lots of creativity with fabric choice. It is a straight-seam process with completely hidden seams!

At the rally you will have the option of just watching the demonstration and picking up a copy of the printed directions to take home for completion. Or, you can come prepared with your own fabric purchase and plan to construct your pillowcase at our gathering. (If you are going to purchase your own fabric and bring it with you, be sure to watch the above video for specifics of what to buy.) Finally, I will have a few fabric kits that can be purchased on site, if you want to try your hand at making a pillowcase.
These pillowcases are so quick and easy and make wonderful gifts for all occasions. You can make a “glamping” pillowcase for your camping trips – or a Buckeye case for game day – or a Halloween pillowcase for your favorite goblin.
I don’t know when we’ll do this – but Loren is going to set aside time and add it to the schedule. I’ll bring a sewing machine, iron, some fabric choices, and complete directions.
