2013 TAC OH Amish Rally

Looking for a great way to shake down and take in some cool sites?

Join us for the 3rd Annual TAC OH Amish Country Rally at Wayne County Fairgrounds in beautiful Wooster, Ohio.

Schedule for this rally is very relaxed.
Upon arrival:
You will:
-Be greeted by your hosts for directions to sites
-Receive a "goody bag" with items & information about the area and the updated schedule as well as provided a hard copy of the driving route to explore Amish country at your own pace.

Thursday dinner is on your own unless you wish to join the hosts in the track building for a potluck dinner.

Friday
7-9am- Donuts & Coffee in the track building
Anytime: We will not be doing an organized "trailer crawl" due to weather being questionable. However, there will be information included in your goody bag as to how to show you welcome people to check out your trailer... or you do not.
5pm Hot dogs, a side dish or two, and marshmallows await your arrival for supper and will be available in the heated track building. Bring your own roasting fork if you want one over the fire, we will have the campfire roaring

Saturday-
7-9am- Donuts & Coffee in the track building
Anytime: We will not be doing an organized "trailer crawl" due to weather being questionable. However, there will be information included in your goody bag as to how to show you welcome people to check out your trailer... or you do not.
6pm bring a dish to share and join us in the track building for a potluck dinner, raffle, and trailer park gift exchange.
- If you wish to participate in the gift exchange please bring a wrapped item.
- If you have any spare parts or anything to donate for the raffle it would be appreciated. (This is instead of a rally fee. we ask that you just buy a few tickets for the raffle. Any $ above what is needed to cover will be awarded at the end of the raffle by choosing 1 or 2 tickets from all tickets entered)

Sunday-
7-9am Coffee & Cereal Bar in the track building
- Please bring a cereal to share. Milk will be provided.

1pm- Pack up and hit the road

I just saw the logo for the rally in the rotation for the first time today. Looks good as always. We've got plenty of late-season camping planned still this year, but April 2013 is only 7 months months away...4-5 of those being relatively non-camp-able. Time to plan for getting things out in the spring already!

Unfortunately not. But, we did just plan our first camping trip of the year! Amazingly, it will not be TAC Amish. Parker's spring break this year is the last full week of March (including Good Friday) so we're planning to go south. We'll hit SC, GA, and FL. The TAC rally is a week after we return. We hope to have the moho out for the TAC rally!

Jean and I are planning to be there.
Hopefully warmer than in the Great White North.

I called and confirmed today! We will have use of heated building all days except we have to work around the dance club on Thursday evening like last year. Otherwise we are good to go! Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I just completed the driving tour for this year and sent it to the rally host. There's some additions this year. Wine and beer makers and meat aficionados will be in love. Hope to see some of the regulars as well as some newbies this year.

Hey Jason,
From earlier post I thought you weren't attending. Be glad to see you and family again. I drink beer and love meat. So bring it on!!!

The TAC rally won't be the first camping outing of the year for us ... but for sure well be there. It's kinda hard not to attend a rally that's only 15 minutes from my house. I don't think we'll be on site until Friday due to my oldest kid bring in 1st grade now. I plan to bring the moho this year.

We are seriously thinking of coming, but we have to wait to see what's going on with DH's work.

There's an awesome local microbrewery that has opened up in Wooster since last year's rally (http://www.jafbbeer.com/). Even if you're not a beer fan, it's a great gathering place. We could bring a bottle of wine or two for the non beer drinkers. There's huge tables for large groups of people. The brewery doesn't serve food, but they encourage brewery patrons to get food from local restaurants and bring it to the brewery to eat. They even have menus on-hand from many local places.

I'm thinking that this would be a great place to go on Thursday night for dinner if we have enough early arrivals or perhaps Friday afternoon before going back to the fairgrounds for hot dogs.

Who's in? Do we have enough on Thursday to do it? Who's interested on Friday?

As of right now, I'm not planning to be on site Thursday either, but since I work in Wooster going to the brewery after work with Airstreamers is not an issue. If we go on Friday, we'll have to go early (3-5) or later in the evening since our hosts have dinner planned for everyone at the campsite / fairgrounds. Then again, maybe after eating some food would be a good idea...

We are in for Thursday evening. However, depending on Mike's work schedule will depend on when we pull in Thursday.
