Lets work the problem people...Lets see who will still come on the 16th, Who needs a cabin and who can come in sites and try to get the same crowd assembled. I'm willing to come in a my trailer so someone else can have my spot.

If it helps take the sting out our cabins went to help stranded travelers in this area. Also I would like to mention that the manamger does not usually allow this to happen regarding applying the $$ to another weekend so we have the campground to thank for their coorperation.

We sympathize with ya, bummed to the max. We are good for the 16th the Peanut was in a foul mood when I told "her I haveta put ya back in the garage."..

Still Going

You are not going to believe this but the CT folks are still going. Sandi, Don, Amanda and Donal still see no reason not to go!

I guess they know something the rest of us don't know!

myboyburt and pattyo will stay in my vacation house which is just a few miles from the campground. We'll just head over for the fun and adventure during the day and sleep at my house at night.

So, I think you would only need 1 additional cabin.

Or not!

Drive carefully...traffic will be tough.

If the CT folks are so hot to go camping, why not consider taking the shorter trip to that southern RI campground that is open year round? I forget the name of it...strawberry something. It certainly would be a less treacherous drive. On the other hand, driving to NH in this weather would provide you with good fodder for nursing home stories in later life!

Well everyone.... Here I am in the office still working away at 4:15 on a Friday. Sandi left the office around 2:30 to head over to Amanda's and the four od them are going up to Freedom from there. Maybe I'll sleep in the Safari tonight with Belle.

the campground is Stawberry Park (added advantage of being close to Foxwoods). : Strawberry Park Resort Campground- Welcome!

Hope CT folks aren't towing.

Did they say anything about stopping at my house? or Andre's? or are they going "all the way"??

Well knowing Don, he is on a mission! Knowing that they are going to be the only ones there, I'm not sure of the mission. Not towing, the VT is at Colins. I made sure I gave Sandi your phone numbers so if they have a change of heart halfway there they know they have friends to call.
