Thanks,

Funny, I just ordered a Dutch Oven to use in my fireplace this winter, I don't know if it will get here in time for the rally though.

I'll see if I can pick one up locally this weekend (cause everyone needs two Dutch Ovens )

Consider your arm twisted!

Sounds fantastic to me!

Yukionna -- I'm twisting the other arm! We missed the skating last year, but both girls are starting skating lessons soon at a local rink and they would LOVE the iceskating on the lake experience.

Muddy Hollow -- I'm working on getting over to the Wine & Dine, just have to confirm with the man, who will be home soon. I can bring our double burner Camp Chef if that's what you need. I've been wanting to test this out at a rally. -J

We put our down comforters on the bed also. Can't wait, I love when we all have to cuddle up close to the fire. When we come in for the night the beds will be nice and toasty.

Do I get to choose who I cuddle up with or will this be a giant group hug?

Okay folks you have now or should have by now the outstanding menu for sat. Any talk on the potluck? Who's bringing what? I have had a few ask what to bring and at this point I have no idea!! Anyway I have my fingers crossed that we only need a blanket and not a raincoat!!! Just kidding we have the huge tent complete with sides. We got our orders today from Rick the wine man. Plenty of water and plain bread to cleanse our palets. Bring your renegade flowers as we may use them for our centerpieces.

Leon is making pies

Apple and hopefully he will make squash. And he makes his squash pie from squash, not a can.

I will make something, just don't know what yet.

Thanks Balgrn, Titu & Gail emailed me the PDF file with the menu. I cannot believe the effort Elaine L. and Muddy_Hollow have put into this rally. You guys ROCK!

Balgrn, you got 6 FOOT high flamingos? Jeez, I'm going to have to get into gear and find some more tacky flamingo stuff before Friday......

Sounds like it might be chili weather

Mark says he's up for making a batch of chili and it looks like the weather will cooperate. I'll make sure he tones down the heat, he tends to get carried away. Maybe a batch of jalapeno blue cornbread on the side.

The Dutch Oven I ordered has been delivered! So, it's maiden usage will be at this weekend's rally.

We will also be bringing firewood, looks like we're going to need it.
