Here I am, sitting at the campout at Chatfield. I would say there are about 15 Airstreams scattered around the campsite. I'm sitting WAY OFF in the corner in a groups site the club had to rent because the rest of the sites booked up, thanks to a mostly under construction and CLOSED campground. I had expected that it would have been easy to to get a spot with full hookups, but instead the group site has power only, and two of the pedestals were completely dark. I complained enough to the campground host about it that he finally fixed it this morning. Good thing too, since it's about 88 degrees here, and it was much hotter in the trailer until I was finally able to power up the A/C. The dog and I have spent most of the morning and afternoon on small adventures/store runs. He was well rewarded by a two hour run in the off leash dog park with zillions of other dogs, all swimming around happily in the water.
I met all new faces last night, and this is really a great group. I'll be a WBCCI member by nightfall IF I don't drink too many beers first.
