Looks like a great weekend coming!
So sorry I'm stuck here in VA Beach. All y'all have a great time, and don't drink TOO many adult beverages.
Thinking of you. Paula

Looks like my prediction on the weather isn't going to come true:
Long term weather forecast - looks like 60s Wed-Fri and Sunday, 54 Saturday, and a "couple of showers" Friday and Saturday. Not too bad. The nights look pretty cold though!
I'll update the link as we get closer.

YES I AM LOOKING AT THE GROUND AS I SAY THIS..... Sorry folks, I have to back out of the unofficial caravan that was to start at great falls on wed. I am far from ready to tow as of 4 am monday and think I had better back down now than wait till folks are arriving in Northern Virginia to caravan and I am not there. No one can feel more dissapointed in this than me, but I need to be realist. Sorry again. Time to go out and start another day.....

It looks like the weather is looking closer to my original prediction: 60s and 70s through Saturday, although they are predicting some rain (Friday and/or Saturday).
AccuWeather.com - Washington, DC - 15 Day Weather Forecast - Local Weather Forecasts
(The weather.com link posted by byamcaravanner above is still good. I didn't check the MSN or Fox links.)

Vajeep, thanks for the address, very helpful.
Frank, don't worry about the caravan. You know what they say about best laid plans . . . . there will be plenty more times to officially unofficial.
If anyone is interested in the Lester Whitewalls (load range C, bias, rated 1820 lb, mfr. date 05/06) that were on my Tradewind, please PM me by 6am tomorrow morning. I have two taking up space in the garage with about 3000 miles on them. I didn't think they were enough tire for my Tradewind, but someone out there may have a use for them.

I'm still going!
Well, there's always next time Frank! I'll be pulling into the Great Falls National Park on Wednesday morning at 0900. I'll be waiting until around 11am and then will be heading south on the George Washington Parkway into the city. Here's the planned route - down to the Route 66 bridge, crossing into the city. I'll be stopping on the western end of the mall, to spot the Lincoln Memorial. Then I'll make a stop at the center of the mall to spot the Washington Monument, then onto the other end on the east for the Capitol building. I'll swing around and head west again, and make my way to the Jefferson Memorial. From there, it's over the river again to Arlington - I want to take the trailer up to the Marine Corps Memorial. From there, I'm heading for the Rally site. I'm going to bypass Mount Vernon at this time so that Frank and I Caravan down in the future and it's something I want to do with the my family. So, whoever is coming, I'll see you at the Great Falls site between 9 and 11am.

Oops, I thought thought the caravan was cancelled altogether. So I decided to leave tomorrow morning instead of today. Rob, take some pics. I'll caravan with you in spirit.

That's just like you. You're just jealous 'cause you're not going.
Wishing you and Tina could be with us. Where ever you are Clancy Boy, be it land, sea or air, I'll see you somewhere on the flip side.

Oh, man! You're makin' me wanna jump outta my chair! We're really gonna miss CBR this year. Was really looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting others for the first time. Things just didn't come together as we had hoped. I know everyone will have a great time. ENJOY!
