Dad suggested I keep her away from the clown. I think that's excellent advice!

Should I make meatloaf for the pot luck? It's moist and tender and has an Italian twist. I've seen strong men fight for the cold slices to make sammiges out of.

Or... strawberry shortcake... I found a good recipe... but haven't tried it yet. The biscuits use lard and are tender, tender, tender.

Or I just got a cookbook from the Inn at Little Washington.. They have a gourmet mac & cheese... maybe that.

Hmm.

Paula

Paula, just make all three. I can see you are torn on this, so ease your mind and make all three. However, Thursday is dinner on your own... if you wanted to try out the meatloaf with mac and cheese on the side followed by the short cake as desert. You could bring it over and have dinner with my daughter and I before the official potluck on friday... well I would be okay with that.

Obbie, Bring it on. I am open to anything. But remember what happens at CBR rarely stays at CBR...

Yeah! It is right around the corner! I am going to start packing both campers next week. Andy seems to think he will get a polish in (but I am pretty doubtful about that). I hope the weather is good- but everyone make sure your furnaces work!

Hey, some great news... We have a soon to be new member joining us. Jason and Andrea and their two kids are coming from Ohio and are into the process of signing up. I contacted Jason and offered to pay his way to the CBR so he can test the waters. He took me up on that and is coming. He has since decided that if someone feels strongly enough about the unit that they would offer to pay for the experience, well, than that must be worth the effort. So please, folks, let Jason and his family know how much they are welcome... As if I actually need to do the asking. Never mind, just be yourselves.

I'm too lazy to do the research so I'll just ask...who or what is Obie?
