Hi Frank and Rob:

No electric needed for me and Ruby, a wagon wheel sounds great!

C'mon Baby Light My Fire

How are y'all fixed for campfire wood?

Should we be smuggling some into NY or do you have an adequate supply?

Plenty

I have access to over 90 cords of wood at my parents... and we'll have my fireplace out in the middle of the wagon wheel....

Hi 62overlander; Paul should take you up on your recommendation. We did this over the Labor Day weekend, it was lot of fun and stock which followed us home will last us quite a time. I am not sure if my wife will be up to visiting winery, she is a history buff. Maybe someone can recommend local historic places to visit? See you at the rally. Thanks, "Boatdoc"

Hey Doc, Glad to hear you will be joining us. Rob has a whole list of things to do and see in the area. This is shaping up to be a first class rally, complete with a true wagon wheel. I will look forward to seeing and talking with you face to face finally. I will be parking you when you arrive. Please come fully prepared to enjoy yourself.

Doc,
There's lots of Revolutionary War stuff about 40 miles north in the Mohawk Valley. Fort Stanwix in Rome, Oriskany Battlefield, General Herkimer's Home; The Erie Canal Museum in Canastota, President Lincoln's Secretary of State Seward (of Seward's Folley fame) home in Auburn, Harriet Tubman's home in Auburn, flight museum in Hamminsport NY.

The chenango canal ran through the area, too. Very interesting local history.

Be conscious that much of an airstream's torsional rigidity come from the inner skin being in place.

I'm coming from 5 miles away, so I'm not too concerned.

This is getting hard to not do.... It would be four weekends in a row for us. 280 miles isn't that bad... Diesel should be down to $3 by then.

Blue Beret

Yes Paul, it does. Originally, that was the date it was scheduled. However, due to my Marine Corps commitments and that I was the rally host, I had to switch the dates to Oct 2-5. Hope that clears it up some.

Rob
