Matt,

Not sure if they carry seconds, it's been a couple of years since I visited. One nice thing about the Lodge location, Coleman is next door. I have been to the Lodge store at the I-40 Pigeon Forge exit.

This rally may be more expensive than I thought! The Lodge store in South Pittsburgh is next to the factory. Next time you travel I-24 between Chattanooga and Mont Eagle, take a look. They sell factory seconds with slight imperfections.

We are fixing an assortment of Dutch Oven desserts on Friday evening. Let me know what you would like to fix. At Alumapalooza, we fixed breakfast casseroles for 200. Perhaps we can do something similar at this rally. Any volunteers?

Matt,

Glad to assist as able or needed. My large breakfast cooking (family and friends) has been kinda traditional but I have one 20" Lodge skillet that is a pancake making machine. I'm not sure how many eggs it could take at one pour, lots for sure. I have to run it over a fire ring, (I have two of them, old truck rims) never seen a gas burner that I'd put it on. If we're thinking about a group breakfast, I can help with the coffee pot too, 44 cup Mirro boiler on the open fire of course. My new box oven can crank out most anything you could put in it the rack is a full size oven rack. Cookies, cake, bisquits, cinnamon rolls almost if it fits, it cooks it.

And a Merry Christmas to all,

Gary

I am preparing breakfast on Friday. Will be oatmeal and ice cream!! If you've never had it, it is great. I'll have to look at the schedule to see what is on for Sat breakfast. As I,recall(?) the campground has coffee makers. Let me check on that. I have a 35 qt. and 25 qt. pot of r the oatmeal. Also a three burner Camp Chef propane stove. Can use help preparing and serving. Have two folks from Big bend with Dutch ovens for cooking Friday night.

I have minimal cooking skills but am happy to jump in there and help wherever needed.

I've hit a bit of a snag and won't be able to get to the rally until Wed pm. Still would like to gather up sometime, maybe a 4:00 happy hour Wednesday to start things off.
