I'm sitting at my gate at the Madison airport waiting for the boarding call. I hate to leave, Madison was great. I will post more pictures tomorrow. Next stop Denver and then Phoenix late tonight.

The question of numbers came up earlier in this thread. Here is a picture I took as I was leaving the rally. I think they will make 900.

IIRC, this is one of WBBCI's better attended rallies. I'm impressed with the number of international visitors that are from England and Europe. 22 from Belgium is impressive.

I'm afraid your reading the chart wrong. Country to the left, quantity to the right.

Wow - no one from Rhode Island or Utah? That's kinda surprising.

I'm not really surprised about Utah. They have a smaller unit with many older members and Madison was a long trip. I would expect to see several of them next year in Gillette.

We got back home late last night. Didn’t even unhitch.
The GT is sold and the buyer has been pushing for an early pickup this weekend. Unloaded everything into the "new" Tradewind today.
At dinner we were re-hashing the last week. And what a week for first-timers!
Putting faces to names, meeting new people, happy hours and demos, walking the Silver Sea taking in all the innovative things people have done to their rigs, and generally having a much better experience than we had been told to expect.
Being parked at the end of the tractor pull in Jefferson and the bumbling parking Nazis setting up in Vintage will be remembered more with amusement than annoyance.
Thanks to all for putting this together and making the newbies feel welcome.
Tom and Sue

Oops, my bad. Still, there was one from Israel, Switzerland, and England. Not bad to attract people from half-way around the world.

We are back in Illinois. Weather was better than the 10 other Internationals we have attended. We parked with the vintage on grass and met many people we only had known on-line before. Our eleven year old grandson was a first timer. He had fun. Some of the seminars were good. The club faces some real financial problems and needs to find a way to change the club's benefit package to attract new members and improve its efficiency in delivering these new services. The club, as is now run, is a failing business and needs to find a way to change its business plan to address the realities of today and the future. I hope there is someone with a business background to come forward in an influential position with the vision and the authority to do it.

I got back home at 11pm, and I was beat! Was asleep by 11:30pm and was up for work at 7am this morning! I had a great time!
I was able to meet so many new friends, and that is the best part of the rally for me. I hope to be there next year!

I was only at the rally for a few days, but I managed to meet a bunch of great folks who I previously only knew from these forums. I made a lot of new friends and renewed a few friendships as well. I was a bit worn out from all the walking involved, but it was worth it.
Special thanks to airedale who fixed my badge and also provided me with a much needed ride one evening. I hope to see you all and many more in Gillette next year.

No problem Richard, it was great to meet you!
Has anyone heard about the Airstream that was rolled somewhere today/yesterday? I hear everyone was okay, but the trailer and truck were totalled! Any info would be great!

We were in the area Monday day and did a drive through. How great to see so many Airstreams in one place!
