I am very proud to be one of the hosts for this first annual event. There are four of us putting on this rally for your total pleasure all week end long.

We are going to have a good old fashion rally to celebrate Wally's birthday. The rally dates are June 24- 28 2010. Wally's actual birthday was July 4, but we are going to celebrate it a weekend earlier. The rally will take place at Baker's Acres of Chenango in Central New York.

The nearest large town is Norwich if you care to look at the map and see if this is a destination for you.
This rally will be limited to 50 trailers at this point. Registration will begin Jan 1 2010 once we establish a cost for what is being provided. We may be able to increase the numbers if the response is great and we feel we can expand on the limited infrastructure we are putting together. We will have water to fill tanks and it is also possible we may be able to daisy chain water from one trailer to another. We are also working on 3 or 5 amps of power to each rig. Generators will be allowed if the rally power cannot be pulled off or if individuals need air conditioning. Porta Pots will be supplied and an end of the weekend pump out will also be provided.
As I said this is going to be an old fashion rally. The emphasis is family fun and fellowship. We will be providing a hot full breakfast every morning. Yours truly will be cooking all your breakfast favorites. We will also be providing a steak cookout with corn and salt potatoes. There will be at least one potluck supper. Happy hour will be every evening at 4:30. On Saturday there will be birthday cake with home made ice cream. Yes, home made and WE are going to make by taking turns cranking it by hand.
There is a well stocked pond to catch and release till you get tired of catching. There will be a pool with a professional lifeguard on duty so you do not have to worry about the young-ins.

There will be well organized games for the kids to do and countless unorganized ones they will come up with on their own. Hay rides will be going on with great frequency. All of this is taking place on a 62 acre farm that as a 40 mile vista down the Chenango Valley.
All camping will be on the grass You will need to be prepared to level your trailers for very little flat terrain is available. This is just a minor detail that any Airstreamer should have no problem with.
And just to salute Wally properly, we will be having a professional fireworks show right on the farm. I am not talking about some drunks firing bottle rockets, I mean a professional show.
Dogs will be allowed if they are kept on a leash at all time. There will be a semi distant area to let them run. No dogs will be allowed in the food area. This is just out of respect for the non dog lovers in the group.
This is a WBCCI rally. Perhaps this is a good reason to join the club. I promise this will be the Airstream rally you have always been dreaming of finding.
