Hey....I have lost contact with "Powers that Be".......I asked Ken, then Vickie, then Vintage....I want my same parking spot up near the rest rooms....the same one I have been able to get the last two years.....no one says anything....except Vickie....she said it was someone else's job this year. Can you put in a good word for me?
Somewhere near your Airstream would do too. That way I could get some spin off from your Happy Hours.

When you arrive on site, the person checking you in should be able to assist with most requests for campsites. If you did not put your request on the registration form, you might want to go back to www.vintagetraileracademy.com and modify your registration to add your special request in the space provided where you also specify your nights at the campground.

Looking forward to meeting you!

The only way to secure your preferred size and color of the first-ever Vintage Trailer Academy tee shirt (sure to become a collector's item) is to pre-order online and pick up at the event. Pre-order ends on April 5!!

Airport to Campground?

Is anyone else arriving by air without a car and staying at the campground? We intend to stay at the campground the whole time. Is anyone is willing to shuttle us to the campground Thursday night? Our plane arrives at around 7:30. We pay for gas and we are real nice. We pack light.

Is there a rough schedule available? What has the schedule been like in the past. For instance, what would I be missing Thursday evening?

If any of you previous attendees can fill me in, I'll be thankful.

Get there by 0900 and get coffee etc. There is a published schedule of events waiting for you. Pick your poison. Lunch on your own. Afternoon schedule choices again. By the end of the first afternoon you will have a good feel for whats going on. In the evening walk around and you will meet many folks. Many go to town for activities....many fall into bed from the day past.....get ready for the next.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered; what is the food plan? We will probably need to plan some food shopping during the time as we are in a tent and will have no car rental. Don't quite know how we are going to swing this.

How far is Enchanted from the Albuquerque Airport? Close enough for bus or taxi?

Post your arrival and departure times and see if someone can buddy-up with you. It's 16.4 miles to the airport. There's no close-by shopping to the RV park, but typically attendees run back and forth to the nearest stores fairly often.

Great idea!

Southwest Air,
flight 2629 arriving Albuquerque 7:40pm

Southwest Air flight 1901 departing Albuquerque 4:55pm

so we would have to be at Alb airport at 3pm? Or is Albuquerque airport not a zoo like Oakland?

We pay gas, we pack light, and will help the community any way we can. We are all ears...

Plan ahead

What Zep said. There is nothing around the Park. If anybody has connections in the area it would help make a better event if there were a couple food truck types there. I am sure there must be something Vicki could put up with. And, there are no markets close by...requires a vehicle to get to one. I plan on offering rides to any who need one.

Just another example of how cool we are

We have an airport to campsite ride already. How cool are Airstreamers?

Zep, we will be needing a grocery store ride for some basics and will buy you a nice bottle of whatever you desire. We will come prepared.

I keep thinking of how neat its going to be to meet people Ive known on this forum since 2004. We should have name tags with our Airstream names and our given names.

Shelly will be with me at the rally, but won't be attending any classes. Will she be allowed at the meals? I was looking at the posted schedule, and noticed it doesn't show the length of the classes, such as floor replacement. Does that class take the whole time, or is it repeated? Looking forward to it!

Swap meet ?

Is there going to be of swap meet, originally there was some mention of that. I'm sure I have parts others want and I don't need.
