I am searching for an Airstreamer who attended the 2013 VTA. He lives just a short drive south of Telluride on the 145 (San Juan Skyway) and is an EMT. No worries, no money is due, but I would like to touch base with him. Anybody have a clue?

I'll miss not having the VTA this year. :-( It's such a fun and valuable experience. I refer to my notes from the years we attended regularly. Looking forward to next year. I hope!

We feel the same. We even had our vacation dates set for our second attendance. Hopefully the organizers will get their well deserved rest and regroup.

Vintage Trailer Academy is a educational seminar based event that has been held in ABQ but was skipped last year. Hopefully it will be back next year and be right in your backyard so to speak.
Sounds like you are trying to connect with Airstreamers in ABQ or northern NM.
You might try starting a thread in the new member introduction area that says something like:
" new to ABQ any other airstreamers near here"

I guess I'm behind is email responses for the VTA - I am the organizer of the VTA and we are just now taking about next year - it's a great event and we have certainly heard loud and clear how much it was missed

Thank you for all of the positive comments - after taking a year off we are planning an even better Academy - we are working with a school to use their facilities - we will have classrooms, cafeteria and best of all no wind and sand ! We have lined up our expert instructors who do this stuff for a living and are in the process of putting together a great program - the focus is to teach the more unusual restoration tasks that you won't find anywhere else. We have not finalized the date yet, but shooting for the first weekend in June in Albuquerque NM - we will have plans finalized in early Jan and will formally announce then - in the past half have come in their Airstreams and half have stayed in area hotels. Looking forward to seeing y'all !!!
