Looks like a few more Californians may be heading to Q town after Thanksgiving.
Keep your eye out for some more silver arriving on Friday...

Mike, yes we were. Got into Gallup on Saturday PM and were out Sunday AM. Returning from a 2 week photo expedition. We were parked down on the West end of the CG.
Did not see the Geo on the tail of the MOHO, or a herd of fink plamingos, so it might have been y'all doing for fuel or a dump.

There is always hope for the working stiffs! One never knows who is going to show up.

Mr Milo,
Goin,
These alias-type things always confuse me...
The site has yet to be determined, the arrangement depends on the site, and we're still in Tucson, yet to determine the site...exciting, ain't it...? Believe me, I would rather be in Q, but that isn't possible until the 22nd, if then. I promise you that the desert will hold the whole group, where ever it is, and that the desert golf will be outrageous...horseshoes will be at your own risk, and the rattlesnake rodeo may be canceled.
Mr Howard,
We didn't disconnect the Geo, as it was a one-night-stand...I may have left the stealth system on, as I was more focused on the supper menu than shutting down systems...we were plugged in to a land line, after all...did you notice the dimming of power when the Naval jet flew over...?

Mr. Mike
Scrappy
TTQ
Fun Buns (Richard calls you that)
This name thing is O.K. Just pick the one you want to use.
If you're on scene by the 22nd or 23rd that gives plenty of time to give out directions and AZflycaster, Richard, Snookums (thats what Timemachine calls him.) to post ariel photoss with circles and arrows.
A week from this moment our trailer will be loaded and parked out front in anticipation of a 6:30am departure. Hmmm better make that 7:00am.
Does anyone know if target shooting is allowed in the area?

Another Californian. Howdy.
And a hearty howdy to my California buds that are already singed on. We're going to try to be in Friday afternoon.

HI
I am in the big Q now.
Are there any other Airstreamers here?
I just got here from the SNU rally at Death Valley and am looking for a parking spot.

Well, I don't know how to say this, except to say it.
Tracy and I will probably not make it to Q for Thanksgiving.
We are dealing with some medical issues that will require rapid intervention, so that is what we will do.
If ANYONE can go early enough to scout a place, the rest would appreciate it very much, I'm sure...if not, I know Plamosa Road was not pet-foot friendly, but is a location a lot of folks know about, already.
We are REALLY sorry about this, but have no choice.

Big q
I am at the Road Runner camp ground.
(1) Go about 5 miles south of Quartzsite on AZ 95 to just past mile marker 99.
(2) Turn right onto 53rd ST North, just after you turn bare right onto durt road, sign has Road Runner camp ground.
(3) Go 4 tenths of a mile you will pass camp host.
(4) Then turn right across wash you will see my Squarestream.
This site has 6 fire pits 1 big one, room today for lots of fine Airstreams.
Hope to hear from someone before I have to go home for turkey day.
Hope to be back the day after for the Q rally.
All Airstreamer passing by Quartzsite AZ.are welcome to stop here.
Mike sorry to hear about Tracy she will be with us.Good luck.

A few questions about this site:
Will crossing the wash be a problem if it rains?
Is the ground pet pfriendly (no sharp lava type rocks...)?
Can we camp there without a BLM permit?

So sorry to hear that Scrappy.
We will miss our TTQ.
Hoping all is well for a swift and smooth recovery.
I may have a loaner crown
if someone is willing to cover for you in your
very brief absence.
Did we have a first runner up?
Perhaps Mr. Gointobewearingatiara?

Mike,
No need for apologies. Take care of the important stuff first. We'll make do and see you and Tracy next time. Ron

Q
Wash is not deep so trailer can cross with no problem. Will not hit bottom.
Pet friendly? How tuff is your pet? It is all rocks out here at Q in all the area I have seen.
This Road Runner camp ground is one of the FREE 14 day areas.
But anyone feel free and come see if there is a place that they like better. This is just a place I am cammping at.There is lots of room here I can only see about 10 campers from here.
There where not many campers at Plomosa Road Area yesterday but I guess some did not like that area last year.It is free
Hi Jolly did not have many but it is small camp ground.I do not really know how rocky it is because I have never camped there because it really get to close together for me.It is free
I was at Dome Rock last night but it is rocky and lot of washes not many spot for a group. It is also close to I-10.It is free.
I have not looked at Scaddan Wash camp area.It is east next to I-10.But it is also a free area.
I will sit on this area till Tue then I will be going home for turkey day and plan to come back the next day.
But anyone feel free to pick the sit for the rally.

Sorry
Mike, my thoughts will be with both of you this Thanksgiving
I myself will not be attending the Q-town T-rally.
You guys will have to fend for yourself on the MASH POTATOES, sorry
A terrific T-Day at Q-side to all!
Hoist one for me.
