Richard:
When you offer courtesy parking it is hard to tell what shows up.
Have a good time at Turkey Day.

And people wonder why we keep our blinds down...
I thought I heard the recycle truck, but now I know it was Richard firing up the 6 horsepower digital camera...

That picture looks like it was a very early morning look out the door at that. Out checking for stars and meteor showers Richard? It actually looks kind of cold there, is that correct? If you say yes I'll feel much better about where I'm at.

It was very cold, it dipped down into the mid 50's last night. We only reached 83 degrees today, winter is here!
Mike and Tracy hit the road this afternoon.

QUOTE " Mike and Tracy hit the road this afternoon."
As we drove off, I saw all the neighbors coming out and headed for Richard and Jan...Richard was reaching for his wallet...what was all that about...? Sheesh...quiet neighborhood...just 'cause I emptied the black water tank...they had storm sewers...
c'mon, a little hosing, a dry climate...

Do we have a location yet? Never been to Quartzsite- so will need some directions on how to find the rally. GPS would work.

We'll be there the day after T-Day. While spending a wonderful day in Q-town having some great Turkey sounds great, staying married also seems like a good thing and certainly much cheaper. So we'll do family in Yuma and head straight up the road the day after. Save us a spot. We'll bring some wood.
I was down at Oasis on Sat checking out some work and noticed an AS motorhome rig, wondered if it was going to be a TTQ sighting, but no such luck.

The TTQ is in Tucson as we speak, hopefully he will be headed towards Q-Town in a few days. Keep looking, those 345's are not easy to hide.
I will be headed to Tucson tomorrow as well, it's a work thing for me.

A comparison (belated due to my being slow on the uptake) of temperatures.
Your high of 83F to our 10C (brrrrrrrr)
Your low of 50's F to our meager 4C (BRRRRRR)
Your picture of sunshine to our, well, suffice it to say that we did see the sun for the last couple of days but that has been a too short respite and with the cool breeze it feels quite cold. Of course the school kids go past in T-shirts while I'm in a heavy jacket. Yep, I need to convince the love of my life (wife, not car and Airstream) to take me and the other loves of my life (car and Airstream) south for the winter.

Geez, Richard, we are expecting rain later tomorrow and then it will warm up here all the way to almost 13C. It always gets warmer when it rains because of the cloud cover - another concept you guys probably don't have to deal with. By the way, not only does the "C" stand for celsius but also for cold at this time of year. Heck, we don't even get to 89F in the summer for all but a couple of days. Now I suppose you are going to suggest that you folks don't even have rubber boots as part of your normal attire? I feel badly for you guys. You have not lived until you have spent weeks and weeks with rain and then one day the sun comes out. The only thing missing is someone calling out for Noah to come see what land looks like.

Barry,
I had a previous life with all the fun things you have. That's why I live in Arizona.

Richard,
I can understand the move and would love to do so as well. Maybe, in the future, winters in the land of no winters will be in our cards but not quite yet. 12 months of the year camping availability fits very high on my "want to do" list.
