OOPS...sign-up page is located below the 'Upcoming Rallies" page...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/cale...day=2008-11-26

Sign up now, avoid the rush...

Dates are expanded version...T-Day will still be T-Day...invite your friends, bring leftovers and/or Spam, donations for the MargiBall, firewood(or that desk you've been meaning to throw away), and whatever else seems appropriate...Richard and Jan have indicated that they will be deep-frying a turkey, so maybe someone oughta bring a fire extinguisher(BIG one)...parking spots furthest away from them will be sold on a first-come basis, but in keeping with TTQ moral standards, bribes will be accepted...

Hey Folks,

Now it's time to actually sign up on the rally page. It looks sad with only two RSVP's when you know we have more than that coming.

OK, here is the problem. When the entry was put on the calender, the start date was Thursday and the start time was 30 minutes after midnight. Since the rally is after the change from daylight savings time (not Arizona) the rally starts on Wednesday at 11:30 PM California time.

In other words, when Milo looks at the Calendar, he only see himself and Motoman. We (non DST people) don't see them.

I am going to try and edit the start time and see if it fixes itself....

On Edit: I have copied all the attendees info, just in case...

If I try and change the time of the event, I loose all the signups except or milo and don. I'm going to have other mods look at this and see what we can do.

Can you change the time the other way and then Don and I could just resign up?

By the way how many that I can't see are signed up?

I knew I shoulda stuck to playin' solitaire on this durn computer...I didn't know that the forum form was so anal...should I edit the times? If so, which way...? Sign up is just for a ballpark, so I can guesstimate how many acres we'll need...or square miles...?

Changing the times will cause you to loose one of the pages. I tried, but was able to put it back. I have asked Janet to look at it, we have seen this issue before. To see people from the west coast just go to the rally calendar and click on the rally on the 26th of November.

The problem with the calendar is not an easy one to fix. We need everyone to make sure they are signed up by going here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/cale...2008-11-26&c=1
and make sure your name is on the list....

Jim,

What do you mean by sayin in your sig.

America, Love her or saddle up and be a Goin?

I'm pretty sure you are disparaging me. I suggest we duel. You choose the weapons and we'll settle this like Gentlemen in Q.

For those of us unable to attend this festive highlight, and in particular the "games", a video would be much appreciated. Man, we miss all the fun. Dueling in the desert, it sort of brings a tear to ones eye and memories of the Duke, Saturday matinées, 5 cent popcorn and a pop and a licorice .......the things you guys do to ensure the rest of the crowd are appropriately entertained. You really go all out for the unit I must say.

Barry

Jim,

I think ya oughta go with "Get out."

However I still demand satisfaction. I suggest we duel with Bloody Mary's at five feet.

(Psst. We'll have to have Karen and Min keep an eye on our stuff so ScrapIrony doesn't. *ahem* Help himself if you know what I mean.)

Barry,

Every FCU rally is fun. This Unit is a helluva collection of characters. Jim just happens to be one of my favorite friends to screw with. I really enjoy pullin the tigers tail.

You'll find out come Summer as I expect you'll be out terrorizing your own self by then and will join us for a rally.

Is Turkey Day in Q-Town Location Known Yet?

I know we have a couple of weeks and I hate to interrupt the important discussions on this thread but Gail and I just got back yesterday from our extended Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Holiday, leave in two weeks for a 5 day SNU rally in Death Valley and then leave 5 days later for Quartzite. I don't know where I am going other than Quartzite. Please help with some general hints; turn north, turn south, etc. or do you plan a large bonfire to light or guide the way?
