That was evident at last year's Q-Town Rally...just saying it too.

Sounds like you guys are good on stuffing so we'll bring cranberry sauce and a cabbage/walnut salad that is a tradition at our family Thanksgivings (sounds weird but I promise you'll like it). Plus some cheese or something to snack on while the turkey is a fryin'.

Also, since we are new to the Q, we have a couple of newbie questions. Are there any grocery stores around? Or do we have to bring in everything we plan on eating/drinking for the time we are there? Do we need a replacement filter for the gen b/c of the dust? Is there anything else we should know? We are clueless!!! Thanks.

There are stores in town, mostly smaller markets that should have most of your need at a slightly higher price. There is no Walmart or Safeway or even an A&P. I would plan on bringing as much as you can. Dust should not be too big of a problem. We should be good on the turkey and stuffing. Veggies, salad and deserts are the missing items now.

If you have an Air Card for your laptop you should be fine for the Internet.

The General Store has a meat market better than big-box places, and the produce market across the street from the post office has fresh, reasonably-priced veggies.
There are several dented-can markets. Firewood is kinda expensive...so is most liquid libation, unless you are not a discerning drinker...
