The plucked duck blew town at 3pm yesterday and landed in Yuma as a kind of scenic route detour. Heavy dune traffic on our side and the mother of all border patrol stops on the East bound side.
Passed another airstream 1/2 way between gila bend and the I8/I10 intersection. Was wondering if it was one of y'all heading to Q-town.
Jim left this am...he left the trailer, so I suspect he'll be back...if not, party at Jimini's place tonight!!! He found a really good site...won't be exactly a circle, more like an oval, but plenty of room...we'll go out this morning and start painting the way in in pink and cardboard...a small shower this morning, and intermittent sprinkles, but should be gone by tomorrow...come early to get your own place with a fire ring...hurry, tho', as they're gonna go fast...reservations ARE possible...it only costs one,...well...maybe two votes...I'm trying to develop a new voting machine, but the prototype from Florida is still counting the last election's ballots...we're waitin'...

Spoke to the camp host this morning...I'll need to give him a list of license plate/state ralliers, and we should be good to go. Also ran into a fellow airstreamer(moho) from last year...he will also be joining us. It's raining, but that's just so ya'll's campsites will be clean for your arrival...anything else I can do to sway the votes...?
It's an easy drive into the area, if you follow the pink brick road.

I am guessing that the directions are for going south, we are coming in from the south going north on 95 so the turn on 53rd will have us going west?
