Stars? Sun rise? They would not be words spoken here. Like the others we are enjoying a swack of moisture today and through the weekend. No silly white stuff but wet and not very warm regardless. Our day time high will be 4 degrees cooler than your overnight lows.

At least knowing others are getting snow makes this much more tolerable but this is far from a desert scene looking out my window. At least Lynn gets to have fun on his tractor today

Eric, Renee(sp?), and Arthur showed up, shortly after Jimini returned, and Ron and Debbie just pulled in...ask them about their uneventful border crossing...
Another beautiful day in the neighborhood...golfing errors were blamed on the wind and the rocks...late turkey sandwich lunch...fire tonight...Bam, where are you?
OK, we'll tip a couple or so more to those of you here in spirit(s)...then we'll probably just tip...

OK, I have to ask. Is there an issue crossing into AZ? I always thought that it was a sign on the side of the road that told you that you had just left Paradise 1 and entered Paradise 2. You choose which is which.

We are lucky here. It rained all day. Quite a lot actually. Not a chance of a sunburn. Moss on the body yes, but sunburn nada.

OK, so Bam showed up at dark-thirty on the 28th.
We left, today, got 30 miles east of Q, and turned on the phone. Got a message telling us that Tracy's surgeon had a "family emergency", so would not be doing ANY surgery this week...we'll call tomorrow to reschedule...
We had a great time, distracting with friends, and are ready to do it, again. Thanks to all for picking up all the slack...what a great bunch of folks!!! I, of course, will include us in that, so I can identify...

Jan and I arrived home around 6pm this evening. Traffic was heavy getting into Phoenix, but we made pretty good time.

This was a terrific rally. Thanks to everyone for pitching in and making it so much fun.

A special thanks for making Jan's Birthday such a special event. She was truly surprised!

So what you are saying is "some chic got naked in your trailer this weekend?"

Wow, you guys do have all the fun, even at your ages.

Glad everyone had a great time.

Mike was at the party. He did make one appearance at the campfire in his royal garb. We had around a dozen Airstreams which included 3 Motor Homes which I believe is a new 4CU record. We had plenty of dogs (4 yellow labs) and 2 cats. Most of all we had plenty of friends and way too much food.

If anyone has pictures of Jan's Birthday party, please contact me. I would love to have a few.

Hot tub for 1/2 hour, shower to green Q, cold beer...but not Q...neighbors close enough to be conjugal, not close enough to discuss politics or religion without weapons, but thankfully, we're close enough to the RR tracks to get the hourly warning of airhorns.

Don't know if folks will want another Turkey Day in Q, but I'm up for it...I'll be up for ANY day in Q, 'cept those months with summer in them...
Did the Ranger thank us for washing out the wash...?

Spent Monday hiking up to Palm Canyon, ran into Bryan and checked out desert living at its finest. There is a certain karma about the place that can be good for the soul. We can appreciate the draw.

We got back from the day's adventures and enjoyed an outstanding evening with Jim and Mini. A wonderful dinner, a beautiful sunset, and a melancholy I-10 flickering off into the distance while much libations were enjoyed.

Had grand plans for an early start and did pretty good considering the previous evening ()by pulling anchor just after 10. Got back into town about 2:30, dumped, cleaned, and fueled at the TTT and home by 3:30.

Pictures are forthcoming. What a great group and a fantastic time to all who pitched in to organize and pull off a great rally.

Good times at the Q!

The 4CU peeps are such great hosts.
Thanks for providing the beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Jimmini picked a good spot for us all and by the time I arrived on Friday
the weather was spectacular all weekend long.
Tons of food and drink and fun people.
That little Arthur sure was cute.
And Jan sure enjoyed those Pomegranate Martinis in the Bam Lounge.

I'll post some photos tomorrow. It was a LONG drive home today.
