Not necessarily. If you edit a post within the first 15 minutes of posting, your post won't be stamped with the "last editted...." information. After 15 minutes and before the end time period for editting (which I don't know what that number is), your post will automatically be stamped with the "last editted..." information whether or not you enter a reason for editting.

So, you must have responded to balrgn's post within that 15 minute window but before he editted his post. Make sense?

I believe you too as I went back and checked your time stamp on your reply and it was just after noon today whereas peegreen's response was a good 3 hours later.

I had a couple of "crashes" this morning too. I posted a reply to the "Rain in New England" thread and received the crashed message. Then I refreshed the screen and saw that my reply was added to the thread but the thread never appeared in the "portal" list of most recent thread responses. {Twilight Zone music plays in background}

Software glitches...what would we do without them?
