loafers, or some kind of "slip-ons" for sure. you don't wanna get caught wearing shoes in Earl's trailer.

Wow! The New England group is hot!!! I just checked in and found out that the Rally field is all filled up (---24 units.) That's what I get for waiting so long and being so indecisive!

Try calling the campground directly to see if they have any spots open in the campground itself. If that fails, try another campground in the area.

Ditto. Leave your outdoor shoes outside; wear your indoor shoes (slippers or crocs) or bare feet inside.

Rally update

I just spoke with the rally hosts and the rally field is full at 24 rigs with space for two more rigs daisy-chained. There are a few other camping options available if you are still interested in camping with us:

1) There is room for two more rigs with daisy-chained water & electric. Michelle and I will volunteer to be the two rigs who share our resources. If you want one of these two slots, you must contact the host ASAP and send in your coupon. Because this is an important business meeting rally, we will need to give preference to NEU members who will be taking part in the name change and Base camp voting.

2) Camp locally at the campground or at another campground. You would need to take care of your camping reservation and fees yourself in this case and then just pay the kitty fee to the hosts when you arrive. Additionally, the hosts are asking that anyone who chooses this option to please contact the hosts so they can plan accordingly to purchase extra food for the meals. Here is a list of local campgrounds (there may be more):

Woodmore Campground - 117 Woodbound Rd, Rindge, 03461 - (603) 899-3362
Seven Maples Campground - 24 Longview Rd, Hancock, 03449 - (603) 525-3321
Tully Lake Campground - 25 Doane Hill Rd, Royalston, MA 01368 - (978) 249-4957

Since this is my first official business meeting I will be attending, is there any protocol, such as dress code, lid, etc. for attendance?

No, there isn't any protocol regarding dress code for the spring business meeting or for the fall business meeting for that matter. Don't worry, you won't get sent back to your trailer to change clothes!

The officers of the NEU club do choose to don slightly more formal attire for the fall installation dinner so you will see us sporting blue slacks, white shirts, red ties and, of course, the blue beret. It's up to the current NEU president on how formal or informal they want the dinner to be. For the last couple of years, we have held the installation dinner in a more informal setting (i.e., in front of a campfire and under the NEU tent).

Additionally, for those officers and delegates attending International, you should pack the aforementioned "formal attire" to wear during opening/closing ceremonies and the delegates meeting.

Thanks for asking as I'm sure there are other new members out there wondering the same thing!

OK - so we signed up for one of the "Daisy Chain" slots, leaving just one more opening! Out of respect for my Daisy Chain partner allowing us to join up, we'll give them first choice of shower times - and we'll promise not to use the microwave, A/C, water heater, and large-screen TV all at the same time!!! Why heck, we'll even turn off the outside floodlights at midnight!

All kidding aside, we're looking forward to seeing everyone again.
