Hey, here is a shameless plug for CYCLO.

I suggest having an onsite polishing seminar at your place... this way we all polish your trailer!

Hey, this is a great idea! We pay Balrgn back by polishing "Toasty". But, you know it could be better if we did this at our place as we could get more trailers done. Barn big enough for two side by side rigs being worked on (great lighting too) room to park four or more Airstreams outside. 30amp hookups for four, water for all and a waste dump. We also have a 6 person hot tub which would feel great after a day of polishing.

Sounds like I need to work on adding a speciality rally to next year's NEU rally schedule. Need to pick a date that is warm enough to polish but no so warm that folks are sweating over the "oldies" as we work on our rigs.

How about the weekend before Alumination. We would make a long week of it. The polishers could be shipped to your place. We could get our light shows ready, smoke butt, and play trailer trash music. Sign me up

Thanks to our hosts and new Airstream friends for a wonderful weekend. We are beginning to learn. By Aluminations we may be able to put up our Bambi's awning, light the oven, and hitch-up without help. We now know that "grill your own" really means gourmet grilling for the entire group, including Daisy who was treated to a delicious steak snack. Enjoyed the conversations around the spectacular campfire. Looking forward to seeing everyone again at Aluminations, and hope to participate in another group hike.

Also, thank-you to all the NEU members who attended our important spring business meeting and important name change voting -- there were 24 voting members in attendance and 23 members voted against the name change and one member abstained. The 23 votes against the name change translates into 125 votes against the name change.

(Voting results are based on 24 voting NEU members but such vote is expressed as a percentage of the votes for or against and the results applied to the total entitled regular member vote count of the unit which is 130 members.)

We recently audited our membership and have fewer members than I previously stated in this thread. We have over 130 members but many of the members are affiliates, who can't vote. We have 105 voting members which changes the previous name change vote calculation to 101 against the name change. The remaining 4 votes go towards the one abstention vote the name change motion received.
