Micheal,
Have you seen Brian? We should be meandering that way this week, but 150 miles a day is all I really want to do...will probably stop by Camp Verde for a day or two to mooch off of Steve and Reg and enjoy their company...might even do the same to Richard and Jan(don't tell them we're coming...it makes it harder to find the valuables). we're comin', save us a space...m
Richard and Jan are at the Region Rally in northern CO, It might be easy to mooch off them if you get there first, before they return!

I think the place we were at last year is accessible, even after the flooding, but will let everyone know after we get there...fingers crossed...m

Travel safe Mike and Tracy.
We need our queen and her...ah...his court.
Keep us posted.
Thanks, Bam...unfortunately, we don't have room for the court in the moho this year...could you, perhaps, stand in...again...???I'll reign on you with pride...well as much as one can reign in the desert...see you soon...m

We looked at the weather when we left Fort Collins and decided not to go by your place. We are at Deadhorse (Utah) this morning headed south via Moab.
We should be in Flagstaff tomorrow afternoon, most likely staying at the KOA. If you catch up, let me know. If not, we will see you at my house later...

Probably a wise decision...I'm looking out the window at 2" of snow, and I'm sure that the passes are about 6"...the forecast is for more, tomorrow...it will melt before the snow that stays till April, but our window is getting smaller...I'm past ready to get outta here...Y'all be careful...yer driving thru it...we're just living in it...m

I wont rub it in, oh heck, I've been at Q for the past couple of days. Windows and door wide open 24 hours. Spectacular sunsets, Humming birds, peace and quite.
I'll put on my shorts, and take the MC over and scope out the TDay camping area and report back.
The only white stuff around here is quartz
I'll keep a solar powered LED light on fur ya
All drive safe, hear.

Holy, Moly, are you still in Silverton? I thought you two had hit the trail for Arizona some time ago!
Got our needed mail yesterday, and managed to install the new micro/convection oven in...thing doesn't weigh a ton, but try telling my back that...still have to plywood the critical windows and porch, and the least favorite...disconnecting the water lines and draining the hot H20 tank...but, then, F R E E D O M!!!...YEE HAW!!!

I really dislike the whole winterizing thing in the house, too, and have yet to figure out how to do all of it (especially the RV park part of the story). Just keep telling myself: It's just like a big, big, big Airstream (except not as well made).

HOW DO YOU winterize an RV park...???bring in 100 gallons of pink stuff and a super-sized compressor...?...is 100 gallons enough?...You know I winterize the moho with a couple of large bottles of cheap vodka, but I guess doing your place would require a licence...kinda hard to tilt, too...m
PS: we plumbed to tilt to the cut-off valve, then the town put in meters that didn't allow back-flow just above the cut-off valves...I just take the meter off now, and heat wrap for mental comfort...

Tough one, for sure. Basically, we won't worry about the water in the deep pipes. They're down six feet under, below the four-foot freeze line. However, because the park is on a slope, that hundred gallons or so of water in the piping tends to flow downward when the pressure is turned off. And downward, in our case, is right towards the bathhouse at the front.
I think I can manage the house, but getting the bathhouse ready is going to take a little more thought.
