We're still in Santa Fe, too, but only because there was too much snow in Angel Fire to try to drive back today.

We're here with friends -- with health problems. Spent most of the morning waiting for a doctor. Glad that this was more of a shopping trip than a vacation!

Are you guys in the same area as last year? I'll be headed to Parker (work) sometime in the next 2 weeks and might stop by.

Don't forget to sign up for the rally here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/cale...2009-11-25&c=1

Don't know where the other folks are, but we'll be taking our usual space, if no one else has it...will move to the rally site when the time gets closer...m

14 days free, but they don't enforce it if yer quiet...no hook-ups, but there is a place in town called the Pit Stop that will get you dumped, watered up, and propaned for a reasonable fee...there is also the Q laundromat which has clean showers...last year it was $6, and they provide towel,wash cloth, foot towel, soap, and shampoo...the camping area will be flat, and we will have a fire pit somewhere in the middle...bring firewood, a comfy chair, your favorite libations, and somethings for potluck and happy hour snacks...but, mostly, bring yourselves...we always have more food than we can eat...see ya soon!!!mike

Welcome.Please see poasting # 75.That is the area.This is real BOONDOCKING.There is no electric ,no water and no picnic tables.So you will need your fresh water full and black and gray tankes empty.A generater would be nice if you have one. There is nothing at the campsite but a good time.
It is in a FREE BLM area.No $$$ needed.
We sure would like you to bring some fire wood for the bond fires.
With luck we will be parking in wheel and spoke parking around a large fire pit.See you soon.
Please note ALL Airstreamers are welcome.
Me I will be in the big Q on Tue or Wen and park with the Airstreamer that are there now in the LTVA.

P.S.->

If you have a dog, be sure and bring a rug or something, for them to lounge on. There's absolutely no grass.

Some of us will be in the BLM LTVA called La Posa West.The LTVA is $180 for the 7 month season or $40 for 14 day stay.I will check when I get there if they do overnight there.There are 5 free 14 day stay areas.The 4CU Q3-T2 Thanksgiving rally is at the free area called Road Runner.You can do a web seach of BLM Land Quartzsite and get more info.
Will try and let you know about over night in LTVA next week when I get there Tue or Wen.

We plan on being there

Probably Thursday (TGD) morning. And the plan is to drive the Motorhome. A lot left to do (like AZ registration and maybe new tires), but we have a steel skid plate covering the new gray tank. I'll bring firewood.
