Well, I thought I posted a long note last night, but either the computer crashed or I did...OK, dumping can be done at The Pit Stop...they also provide filtered water and propane...since they have a dump hose, you don't have to mess with rinsing yours...they provide a 5 gal bucket for manual flush after flush...I think the charge is $20 plus propane...really convenient all in one...you can be serviced onsite for water and dump(and propane), but I think they charge $20-$25 per truck...at that rate, it would be cheaper to BUY a 2 week pass($40) and avail yourself of the dump and water station provided with the pass cost. If you are coming in to Q from the east on IH 10, there is a ZIP gas station on the north(right) side, about 20 miles east of Q, which has the cheapest gas and propane in the area, and is readily RV accessible. There is an excellent produce market in town, another store has a better-than-big-box butcher market with great prices at both stores...mail can be forwarded to the Post Office, and a local store(Quiet Times) will take UPS, Fed EX, and faxes for a small fee...basically, if you can't find what you want in Quartzsite, you just didn't look hard enough. If folks are interested, we will resurrect the glass garden, Erdman's Cabin, Hi Jolly Monument, and other tours. Jimmini hauled me around to several spots I hadn't seen before, last winter...after ther washes last monsoon, I'm not sure what will be accessible, but we will scout before the rally to see.
BTW, any airstreamers out there who might be interested in joining up with us---come on in!!!4CU membership is not required, but if ya wanna join, I'll pay yer first year's dues($1)

If we can get same area we had last year the GPS numbers are

33-35'-12.74N 114-13'-16.20W Elev 1062 ft

I am sure we will be in this general area.

The place is perfect for everything but dumping gray water...that can be a 5K fine, unless you have a smooth-talking TTQ...the only potential problem is encroachment by OTHER folks...but, hey, we'll just include them...maybe they'll buy an Airstream...
P L E A S E...firewood, and Extra mix for the Margiball...spirits are 'spensive in Q, unless you're cheap, like me...I promise to not do Spamato juice or cream cheese/sunflower butter...well. maybe...m

Artstream;

We will be leaving SW Colo. in the next few days. Have a mini rally at Show Low with Terry/Greg, Louis/Sergio and then head on towards Q. We have never been there but Scrapirony has told us a lot about it. He gave us his map so we will hopefully see you there.

Right now we are waiting for our TV to get out of the shop to have the transmission overhauled.

Is anyone in Quartzsite now? Gail and I are leaving Silver City to head back to Riverside and Quartzsite would be a good stopping point for us along the way. We are also open to other points where we might stay with friends. Let us know; will check our email in the morning before we leave.

I would love to be in Q-Town right now. We are in Fort Collins at the R-11 rally. We have gotten a few inches of snow tonight and the temperature is 22 and falling rapidly.

It was in the 70s here today and in Gila Cliff Dwellings; it is supposed to drop in to the 40s tonight!

Micheal,
Have you seen Brian? We should be meandering that way this week, but 150 miles a day is all I really want to do...will probably stop by Camp Verde for a day or two to mooch off of Steve and Reg and enjoy their company...might even do the same to Richard and Jan(don't tell them we're coming...it makes it harder to find the valuables). we're comin', save us a space...m

Richard and Jan are at the Region Rally in northern CO, It might be easy to mooch off them if you get there first, before they return!
