Great pics Brad.

You mentioned long standing friends but it doesn't look like many were standing at all while you were there. One would wonder if the 7 in the morning happy hours has anything to do with that.

Thanks again for the pics.

Well,
Up a little later than the beginning of happy hour, but not TOO late...Bob, Lou, and Julianne kicked off a pancake/bacon/mimosa breakfast, Mike&Sheri threw in some sausage, and the rest of us provided...well. appetites...happy hour continued, and the second annual Q desert golf classic got underway...not necessarily a spectator sport, as MY shots were true to my ability, and those other two guys were carrying extra balls in their pockets...uhm...I'll stop there...
I got to try out my new wooden driver on a tennis ball, and Richard fetched the first drive(20 ft?), then the spaniel fetched the second(40 ft?)...that ended the serious golf. the last turkey was sacrificed, and Jan's impromptu birthday party was held, the cake devoured, and the campfire was a bit early, and actually sorta ended early. A hardcore group of leftovers kindly allowed Jimmini to go to bed, and the fire was revived...put it down about 11:30.
Tomorrow is the glass garden tour...parasols, hiking boots, and cameras will be dress code...otherwise, it will be informal...

Bummer, Bam, we were counting on your cheerful presence...next year...Thanksgiving...Quartzsite...mark yer calendar when it comes out...

Sam, those aren't mountains, them's foothills...

Barry, some of us were running when we saw Brad coming...

Brad,

We snuck in the back way from Camp Verde, going through Yarnelll. FYI, it took us 3 1/2 hrs. Pee Wee, we always wave when we pass through Dewey.

Thanks for the pictures Richard. They are great.

Who's puppy?

How come when Brad brings out his camera everyone is in hiding but when you have yours out they eat and drink and seem merry? Is there something about Brad and his camera we need to know about?

Its not me or my camera, Barry. At least, that's my story. Richard has had three days to take his pictures and since he's cooking a turkey, I'll bet that was actually Thanksgiving. I was only there for a few hours the day after Thanksgiving and during the middle of the day.

Well, it's about over. Mike (scrapirony) you did another phoenominal job. There are about 5 units left on the rally site. We will all be gone tomorrow morning. Several days of friends, fellowship and food provided for a great time.

There will be many more posts with pictures of the activities so stay tuned.

Thanks again Mike and to all those that attended this great event.

We just got home and emptied the truck and the fridge. Traffic was not very good and the weather was worse.

Barry - The Yellow Lab is Gracie, one of ours.

The knee thing is from kneeling on the rocks at the site. It was pretty tough on everything.

She looks like she is one of those dogs with a huge personality.

Glad everyone had a great time. It would be hard not to with that crowd in attendance.

Travel safe,

Barry
