With all of this talk of the T-day dinner, I sure there are leftovers come Friday.

i'm glad we are not the only ones with the possibility of getting lost in the vastness on the mind. we will use the directions and hope that on wed. the sun will shine so blindingly bright off the air streams it will be a beacon bringing us in to the fold otherwise hope for a passing ship to point us in the right direction. no worries.

Oh, you can see our expanding community from the road, but ya still have to keep going and follow the directions...If ya need a passing ship, it may look suspiciously like a red, beat up Geo Tracker, but it shall sail forth to rescue you from the depths of the desert...

Marge and I will be on our way in the morning and should be there noonish. We have Marge's famous cranberry muffins, broccoli souffle', cheese ball, and margarita ball reinforcements. We will also have a variation on the Bloody Mary medicine, and a couple of bottles of wine. Sounds like we will have to make the U-turn to get over the wash.

Can't wait!

So, on average, how many pounds does one typically put on at a 4CU event? I'm just wondering how much to lose in advance of attending a gathering. Or do you take two sets of clothing, one for getting there, another for the trip onward?

Just checking in advance - I wouldn't want to show up already over the limit.

Just eat til you're full and then nap. You'll stay roughly the same size. Kinda.

Looks like the fun has started! I picked up the rig from storage today and got it back to the house to get loaded. I added a 1/8 allen key and front jack hand crank to the tool kit in case the power jack takes a, well, does not work for some reason. Seems like a few streamers have had that problem the last few rallys we have been to.

Have to head to Yuma to kowtow to the outlaws for a few days and will head up Friday morning. The nipper is nipping and ready to terrorize all who park in the area. Also dragging along our exchange student, this will be his first rally and he is looking forward to it.

Frank Mc, Bob&Lou, Terry&Greg,Mark&Mary, and Brian showed up today...11 trailers, and I think I'm gonna quit counting...chili dogs at Jimmini's, campfire with live music, thanks to Paul and Michael...more campfire, and when I last looked before I stumbled home, the M&MCapeCod's and Artstream were trying to deplenish the firewood at a conservative rate...still a LOT of desert out here, but the later you come, the farther you will have to walk...crawl...zig-zag home...(current turkey fryers excepted)...tomorrow night will probably be a repeat of the night after tomorrow night, so be prepared for the future into the past...if anyone understood that, explain it to me yesterday...

Barry,
One does not GAIN weight at these ventures, one merely compresses the existing weight into more poundage...it's actually a very efficient process...the only antagonist to this process is clothing...apparently it shrinks in the face of adversity...go figure!!!

Hey, Mike:
Looks like the plan is coming together and I'll be loading up the silver bullet this afternoon and head-out to Qsite late afternoon. Plan to arrive either REAL late tonight from Albuquerque or early Thursday AM. Bringing firewood, margie bowl, beer, a couple apple pies and the MIGHTY VELCRO....

Can't wait to link up with y'all -- first 'stream rally for me

Now, come on! Surely someone there has a camera, you know, one that takes pictures. Those little frozen snippets of time that capture the view into a window depicting a scene of view. I know someone has a computer that is actually posting from Qtown, I've actually seen of few of these posts but none are accompanied with these aforementioned pictures.

Maybe my computer is screening the pictures out before I read the posts, I suppose that is a remote possibility.

We leave in 48.5 hours for Q.

I gotta get behind Brad on a couple of issues here. Leftover T, the best part is the T sammich. We're hoping there's some leftover when we get there.

Pictures.

C'mon you guys. Take a short break from eating, drinking and napping and toss us still at workers a few pics. It'll give us the strength to go on. Pretty please with sugar on top???
