Signing up will give me an idea as to where and how we'll park the rigs, but it's a BIG desert, so we'll find room for you slackers...
Would anyone want a different place than last year...? There will be several options, but flat and known are good, as is free...
Uhm, gray water offloading is not allowed, at least during the daylight hours...if you need specifics, check with Richard...
I can taste that bird already.

I'm in favor of flat and free.

Turkeys and salads and yams, Oh My!!!...

Just a niggle to stir reminders...gosh!!!...that almost sounds like poetry...or maybe a recipe...sign up, if you even think yer gonna come...I'm thinkin' that the place Jimmini found last year was pretty good, but I guess SIZE does matter(I wouldn't know, but...oh, never mind)...the firepit is still there, but the parking may have to change to Wally-circlerather than wagon-circle...for future planning, does anyone besides Richard&Jan have a a turkey-boiling set-up...? It might facilitate the disbursement in the dining room...which might need more than our EZ-UP...oh, yeah, please bring firewood, if you can(bundles, cords, old desks, or anything short of old tires...we may get to that, but hopefully the copper pipe/garden hose will be environmentally insulting enough)..."and he continues to ramble in the manner for which he has become recognized..."bad grammar and all...
Anyway, just wanted to keep this thread current...m

Steve,

I'll be traveling from Clark Lake Bed to Q for Thanksgiving also. Perhaps we can have a caravan. I think Silverbear will also be on the lake.

I love the idea of the wheel spoke parking. We could do one like we did at the RMVAC last year in Salida. We should only need one row...

I have to say this is a very welcoming and hospitable group.
As I drove in after dark, I was greeted with a Margi before I even parked.
Very neighborly.
And I can bring more Pomegranate Martini fixin's for proper birthday celebrating.
Someone *cough Jan cough* drank up all mine last year.

Well after having been classed as one of the slackinators, we signed up. For the smoked turkey do y'all like pine, cedar, RR tie, or old tires?

You know the best place in town to get those.
We are going up north to camp with Jim and Min next weekend. I'll make sure they know you are coming.

Bam - Jan says, Thanks!

Forewarned is forearmed.

Bam, When are you leaving. Possible caravan?

A caravan would be fun, Michael! We are staying at the Borrego Springs RV Resort which isn't too far from Clark. I think we we're planning on heading over to Quartzite on Wednesday. If for some reason Anza Borrego SP closes due to budget cuts we may alter our plans but I doubt that will happen.

In case you have not seen this.

Janet created this and added it to the list of upcoming rallies that randomly appears on the portal page.

Thanks Janet!

A possible caravan sounds great.
I'll have to firm up times as it gets closer.
No worries...I'll bring plenty to stock the Bam Lounge this year
now that I know I have a new partner in crime.
