I'll tell ya, backing on the freeway at 55 with a toad is kinda hard, but most people just get out of the way by driving way off the shoulder

Mike,
Let me know if you need anything.

Uhm, Richard...you sure you want to make an offer like that to me...?
I appreciate it, and will email you if we think of anything

Speaking of Thanksgiving pies...does anyone like minced meat pie besides me??

I usually get to eat one all by myself! I will make it someone will help eat it...or not.

Oh, I'll eat some!...I'll even bring the Reddy Whip(although, I believe it's really white...)

what to contribute to t-day meal

hi all-
we are at Lake Havasu SP and will head down to Buckskin SP in a couple days before we head down to Q.... thinking about our contribution to the meal and want to pick it up before we get too far from shopping places. i know they'll have places down there but don't want to wait until last minute.

it looks like you have the turkey and dessert set, what about a couple of sides? we can do a large pot of mashed potatoes, corn bread & some cranberry sauce... let us know

Truthfully it does not matter what you bring so bring what you enjoy.

As always there will be too much food of a very wide variety so without planning we will have a well balanced feast.

Minced Meat Pie

TB:

I'm in. I don't think I have had minced meat pie since I got married, 49 years ago.

Sheesh!!! Got ready to move the unit to the other side of Jim, and it wouldn't start. Helpful hint: if yer gonna have yer rig die in the desert, it's good to be camped next to an airplane mechanic with eons of experience...now, off to the parts store...not going anywhere, anyway...I'm HERE!

Well, at least you are THERE. Some of us (make that two counting myself and Donna) are enjoying in a regular deluge - 300mm of rain forecast from Sunday to Wednesday along with high wind. Oh to be on the road heading to Q-town.

This has been quite the shakedown cruise for you Mike. It is a good thing you are getting all these things sorted out now so you can play the rest of the camping season.

Good luck with the repairs. Hope it is something cheap to fix.

Barry

I had hoped to stop by today or tomorrow and visit. My plan was to be in Parker tonight, but you know how plans change...

I'm in Tucson.
