I am very happy to hear that the weather is changing to sunny or partly cloudy. Anything but rain works for me, and probably everyone else too.

Does anyone plan on bringing tools with them? There are a few things I need while there that just cannot be brought with me on the plane. Please PM me if you may be able to help.

Steve

Keep our fingers crossed about the weather, its hard to predict this time of year. I always carry an assortment of tools, wrenches, screw drivers, cordless drill, assortment of rivets, hammer, etc.

Thanks a bunch Don.

I forgot one item though, if anyone has one of these that is empty/clean, I could really use it.

Man, if I wasn't in the thick of Super Bowl / Mardi Gras prep I'd have to be there for the Vintage.. :-(

Melody Ranch, are you in the Valley View near Denton? I was just up in that area for a shoot and would have looked you up if so...the idea of seeing a REAL Liner up close and in personal...sigh... I'm in AWE of those trailers..a friend of mine has one rotting in his back yard and one day..one day...I'm gonna talk him out of it!

BRRR! I hate having to miss this, but I hate the cold even more.....that always makes it not so much fun for me.......and we have snow here this morning.

Rich you just need to shop the forecasts until you find one you like. The NWS and AccuWeather are more optimistic on precip. It should be no colder than Blanco.

Pack a ceramic heater.

The national weather forecast can be a hit and miss. This is the local Houston TV KHOU Channel 11 weather report that usually is closer to what will happen.

We still have the Coleman a/c that we pulled a few months ago (and replaced with a low profile Carrier a/c). It works. Should we bring that to the rally?

Vintage Airstream Appraisal

In looking in to Agreed Value insurance coverage that pays the polices stated value it requires an approved written appraisal on the Airstream normally from and Airstream dealer or Airstream service center. That is not always so easy to get. I was wondering if Camper Clinic would be interested in providing a written appraisal, for a fee of course, since they will be on site at the rally. If there were enough Vintage owners who wanted to obtain an appraisal for insurance purposes they might be interested. I don't know anyone with Camper Clinic but maybe someone does who could run this question by them.
