Vintage Parking
If you get to the rally and have a vintage rig and are not greeted at the entrance then call me, (Pat) at 512-922-0283. This holds especially true for late arrivals.
I look forward to seeing you at the rally. We have some interesting demonstrations and seminars scheduled but perhaps the most important thing is just visiting and sharing our experiences.
Pat

Vintage Rally Repairs
Camper Clinic: Didn't see anything on their website as to if they are attending.
What kind of stuff winds up at the swap meeting?

Rich - For this rally, they usually bring two or three new trailers for show (and sale?). Call Camper Clinic tomorrow (Monday, 2 Feb) and ask for Les Dodgen & explain your problem / needs. I"m sure he'll try to help.

works in progress
Is it OK to bring my "work in progress? Both of the choices to bring are still not finished. I would think such a project might be of interest to some....but, this might not be the place. Anyway.....I working at it. A margarita machine on site could help out.

Captain,
I was pretty upset to hear that you may NOT bring the trailer I have been waiting a year to see. If you are asking our opinions, BRING THE WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
Bathrooms on site, who cares if you don't have one in the trailer.

Work in Progress
By all means bring your work in progress. Bathroom and showers are very handy to vintage parking especially for the older of the old. I am helping with vintage parking and we are trying to park the smaller, older vintage trailer near the bathroom facilities.
I am bringing my 66 Globe Trotter work in progress which I have been working on the last few months just to make it functional. It's not to pretty but will be perfect for polishing demonstration.

This maybe too little to late, but I've messaged Tom Kamenski of Camper Clinic to bring some sealant down with the new units they are bringing in for display as a courtesy to participants. I figure there will be a market for a few tubes.

Swap Meet - anything goes

Just never know what will show up. One lady wants to bring a refurbished Dometic Propane-only refrig from 1964 Globetrotter. I have more particulars on that if interested, please PM me.
A/S parts, hitches, Tom-Tom, CB radio, are all things which people have mentioned to me that they are bringing. Arts/crafts items always show up. Boxes of books, etc. We've had tires in the past. It's a mystery. Bring something and take away something.
It will be held INDOORS so no need to worry about being out in the weather with your "treasures."

Soldiermedic, I received several PMs from you and responded to each one. Perhaps there was a glitch on one I don't know about. Let's try again, but before Monday, as we plan to leave early in case I need more than one day to drive down due to my low energy level. I continue to be on chemotherapy that really zapps me for a few days each week. I'll have my iPhone, but not likely have my computer laptop with me.

G,
I haven't received anything from you. If you still have my number then give me a call. If not I can send it to you again.

OK, we are registered for the Vintage Rally. It'll be our maiden voyage.

I need the cushion for a Goucho! If you have one, I'd love it!

Awesome! Especially since that's what we are bringing! We won't have the bedroom done in time, so the only option is an air mattress on the floor.

Weather
Here is the forecast for the weather at the rally. Not great, but we have plenty of indoor space and Airstreamers are a hardy lot. For you folks from further up north, this will be balmy!
We may have to move some demonstrations indoors. There is an indoor pool and game room. Hopefully, the sun will come out for the open house on Saturday.

I am hoping these are spotty at best, and not a hard driving rain. I would hate to make the trip in vain and not be able to test all the people who have asked for it.

Attendance at Montgomery
Here are some stats on Vintage Rally attendance next week:
34 vintages from 1985 back to 1950
52 other Airstreams
3 attending without rigs
16 WBCCI units represented
9 United States plus Canada represented
Many Air-Forums will be there - you'll have to find 'em
