4CU 004 : St. Patrick’s Day Rally

This will be the first 4CU St. Patrick’s Day Rally. The dates are Thursday March 15 – Tuesday March 20 (vernal equinox). Bring your AIRSTREAM to McDowell Mountain Regional Park which is just North of Fountains Hills and just South of Rio Verde. We have the group camp area, limit 30 rigs, reserved adjacent to the South Campground entrance.

Hey all you Airstreamers, can't wait for St. Pat's Rally and great weather in the desert. Two quick items or three when I think about it. We are filling up fast so get your $$ in for a confirmed place at dinner. Two I need to know who is staying Mon night as now the park has a minimum for each night. I will send a detailed agenda in a day or so. Oh ya bring some fire wood too.

paul could you provide some directions from here taking I-17s to the campground? i could use them.

hopefully paul has answered already with directions.

we live fairly close by so we recommend leaving I-17 at Exit 223, using Carefree Hwy East, Scottsdale Rd South, Dynamite East through the town of Rio Verde, then south to the park entrance.

if these are the same as paul gave you, then consider them as a confirmation of same.

if you need more exact directions just let me know.

We hope everyone is getting ready for the St. Patrick's Day Rally at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. We have 20 rigs and should have plenty of room for a good parking spot with views.
I forgot to metion that for the Saturday Irish Feast please bring a salad or dessert to share, we are providing Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, and vegetable stew. The weather forecast looks decent with some cloudy and cooler temperatures (high 60's) for the rally. Don't forget to bring your fun self and everyone be safe driving.

There was a contest of skills at the rally. Requirements were agility and reaction time. Two-thirds of the attendees opted for continuing to eat and drink. Those who felt qualified assembled in a circle around appropriately green plates, one plate fewer than the number of contestants. Rules were similar to musical chairs. No snarky remarks regarding dancing moves were allowed.

great pics you guys loved the pre louis slide snap will discuss with carol her take on who got to the plate first from that angle. trip home was ok even thtough copper canyon. 260 from payson to verde valley was closed. we got home about 4pm. today it is snowing here like a north eastern winter day. so be very careful paul and ronnie. it seems to not be sticking to the ground in clarkdale but is to everything else. sedona due to elev may be different. loved the rally thanks so much paul and ronnie,betty and mide for a warm,welcoming,and fun st. pats. enjoying the group at these events is why i remain a proud 4cu member. julianne you were missed, you give good hug.
