SNU Silver Springs Nevada Rally

This is an open invitation for you to attend the next Sierra Nevada Unit's (SNU) rally at Silver Springs Nevada.
The rally dates are Thurs Sept 28th - Sunday Oct 1st.This rally is dry camping and is beside a lake.
There are opportunities to fish,boat,hike or bike ride in the area or just lay back and relax in a peaceful setting among friends.

I should have mentioned that you do not have to be a WBCCI member to attend this rally.This and all SNU rallies are open to all Airstream and Argosy owners.

We had a great time at Silver Springs/Lahonton Reservoir. One of the highlights was getting to meet some brand new Airstream owners who had just bought their 30ft Classic five days before the rally. We also had someone who had seen our notice in the newspaper bring out his 1960 Globetrotter that we wanted to sell.

We actually think that the 1960 was a Safari 22. After doing some checking on VintageAirstream.com's chart and photo archive. In comparing it to the photos that Tim took it matches up almost exactly to the Safari.

Sorry, I was not trying to correct you but just wanted to state that we also were not correct in what it was and had to learn a lot to decipher the serial number.

I listed it for the gentleman and listed it as a Globe Trotter. It was pointed out to me that it was not, it was a Safari. So we had to learn how to better read the serial numbers.
