Jump right in! I'm rolling in a B-van. Your camper is going to look a lot more like the other ones there than mine will.

Hi Paul and Group, I WILL BE ABLE to attend. I'll be arriving on Thursday the 19th and leaving on Sunday. I'll be on site # 114. I am really looking forward to this rally.
Hey Kevin, Glad you can make it. We will be in site 108 or 110, cannot remember which, just know it is a few down from you.... next to Rob Baker and Family.
This is going to be a great rally. Lots of new soon-to-be-friends I haven't met yet. It will be great to put faces with names.
And lots of folks I've met before at the CBR and even from my neck of the woods further south. I was just reading through the thread. Levon, it will be great to see you again and your fabulous vintage gems. Kevin, I'm glad you were able to work out your schedule to attend.
It looks like our "Welcome To" sign is FINISHED!!!!!
This past March while Doug&Terry Rowbottom where heading to FL for a few weeks, they stop by my house on the way. While here, I was telling Doug about an idea I had for a sign to put up at the rally. I had seen a picture in a Blue Beret of a sign at the 1st International Rally back in the 50's. It was a "Welcome To... BYAMVILLE" sign. I told Doug I was going to have the same sign made up for our "East Coast Vintage Rally" so people could get their picure taken under the sign just like they did back in the 50's. Well, that night Doug and I went all over town thinking about what the sign should be made of, colors, etc... and looking for the stuff to make it. We came up with "Tyvex" and blue lettering. We were unable to get the sign made before Doug and Terry left, so I was going to have a sign company make it up for me.
To my surprise, Doug sent me this picture!!
All I can say is, Doug "THANK YOU"!!!!!!
You are the official sign maker, axle swapper of the rally. I can not thank Doug enough for all his help with this rally.
Doug and Terry Rowbottom are one of the best!! Again, "THANK YOU" so much! It's people like you and others that are going to make this one of the best rallies ever.

I have come to notice how Doug is constaintly serving his unit and the club as a whole. He is always lending a hand to what ever needs to be done. The other thing I notice is he does it without any fan fair or noteriety. At CBR, Doug was always present when something needed to be set up of when something needed to be taken down. He definitely gets involved. If I wore a Blue french mans hat, I would take it off to him. Thanks Doug.
PS he is a hell of a restorer too. His trailers are a treat for all to visit.
All,
We are getting close to filling up all our spots with only 21 days left to sign up. Below is a copy of the agenda for the East Coast VAC Rally. If you have questions, email me at balloon@rideair.com Remember, this is a "NO FEE" rally, when was the last time you got all this and only had to pay the campground fee!!

Paul, I would like to propose potluck every night for those who want. I find the WDCU potlucks to be closer to a potlatch and, frankly it is the best part of the rally. I know everyone will not want to participate, but we sure would enjoy it.
