Congratulations to Charlie and Heidi for another well done 4CU rally! A good time was had by all. The steaks were wonderful. One unusual thing was that the dogs did not outnumber the number of trailers!

General, the beans and peach cobbler caused us to put on too many extra pounds. Have a safe trip finding a good spot to hunker-down for the 4th.

See y'all by the next 4CU campfire. Gave Charlie a bunch of images to edit and post to the list.

Thanks to everyone who made for a very fun rally. In all we had 6 Airstreams, and 15 people which is nice to see at a boondocking rally. The weather was perfect, and I thought the alternate site was great. I'm sure I'll be back again to Turquoise lake. Our pitch in dinner was delicious Sat. I could probably skip eating for another day after that feast. It was really nice to meet everyone with very enjoyable conversations around the campfire. Thanks for taking the pictures Howard, I've e-mailed them to Jerry to sort through for the 4CU newsletter. I'll make an attempt at resizing and posting some pictures on the thread Tues. evening.

We had a great time being lazy, eating, being lazy and meeting everyone. We always love being in a Ponderosa forest*. And thanks to Howie for the tip on how to attach the brake safety wire (with a carabiner to the truck's weight distributing hitch). More thanks to Rodney for helping me get out of that spot amongst the Ponderosas. And thanks to Charlie for putting it together and for showing us his very unique Airstream. Thanks to everyone for the food. Sounds like an Academy Awards speech by now.

Thanks for organizing this rally. It is activities like this that make the FCU viable. I enjoyed looking at the pictures that everyone took.
