Items in quotes do not count. You need two characters that are not inside the quotes.

Spartan Love

Wow the Spartenette looks great. Here are a few shots of the one we are redoing. We don't plan on her ever rolling again but instead be a great silver get away.

Pic 1 me and my boys building a deck

Pic 2 starting to gut her

Pic 4 what a mess

Can't wait to here what your plans are keep us in the loop.

You do realize that original 9x9 tile glued to the floor you are pulling up is probably full of asbestos don't you?

Nick, looks like you and Holly are moving along there. I can't wait to see the woodwork you've refinished. I'm lovin' it! She will be a beauty. . . . well, she already is!

59 toaster, yes I am aware that the tiles are most likely marmoleum a vegetable based product with an asbestos backing. According to the EPA as long as I am not sanding them off the floor which is being replaced/repaired, I am only in minimal danger. Actually Spartan was one of a few companies that did not use many asbestos products in their trailers. Formaldehyde is the more common carcinogen. But after 50+ years of out gassing it is very minimal. Thanks you for your concern
Sugarfoot, thanks for the support maybe by spring we will have some great pictures. Not as sweet as your rig but fun none the less.
Camperski, Holly and I will be camping near Townsville/Lake Hartwell. If this go south and another truck and set of hands will help call me. I will PM you my cell number

I do have a great job! it cuts into my hobby though. Trying to help them co exisit. I've got 7 mountain courses 5 operating and 2 under construction now. Think i'm gonna use the Spartan as a part time residence in the future, as construction takes me further from camp.

Nick- Go to a rally! Check their rally site, find someone in charge, give them a call and they should be more than happy to have join them for some time. I would be sure to call and find out when is a good time to stop by and met the folk. Most rallies do have 'time on your own' when people venture out to see the local area. After attending our first rally we were hooked! We made so many new friends, had tons of fun, learned a bunch of great stuff and sat around a campfire and shared stories and song. A really good time. In fact Sandi and I are getting married at a rally which is being put together as an official WBCCI Wedding Rally! So get out there and join the fun!
