Dougjamie - come to the rally!

It doesn't matter if the beds are in, just throw your sleeping bags down on an air mattress. If your bathroom is not in order you will find that the campground has everything you need to get by for a long weekend.

You will meet great folks and get tons of advice on the best way to restore your trailer. And more important I believe you will have a BLAST!!!

Okay guys,

Everyone is worried about their tt's. Any AS is beautiful no matter what shape they are in, RIGHT? Bring your sleeping bags if you have to, and enjoy the stars at night by the campfires and the sound of the ocean splashing on the beach. We drove to Salisbury Beach last weekend, and are more excited than ever to go. It will be a lot of fun!

Now, we have to get down to business and start talking about the good stuff like who is bringing WHAT to the POTLUCK! I will be making my daughters' favorate "Broccoli & Swiss Cheese Quiche". The appetizer is still being decided.

You gotta come! It looks to be a awesome time! Nothing wrong with a work in progress, Both of ours will be for years to come the way I keep taking things apart!

You guys are great...

My girls are really excited about the rally, so we'll get there one way or another. I'm the one who's nervous as heck about it (gee, can you tell??) It's our first time taking the trailer out of the driveway since we got her home.

Broccoli and cheese quiche??? Yowza -- I've got to work out food plans too! So what is everyone else bringing?

YIPPEE!! At this time next week we will be at the rally.

I'm so looking forward to it!

Hoping the weather is good, but I'm sure we'll all have a good time even if it rains.

Tent

I've received permission from the campground to erect the NEU tent so all planned activities such as meals and meetings will be held under the tent. We plan on erecting the tent near my site -- hopefully there is enough room. I sent out a postcard mailing to everyone to alert them to the change in our business meeting location (was in the pavilion; now under the tent).

I've got fingers and toes and everything else crossed for good weather!

Just looked at the long term weather
Calling for rain off and on through Saturday.
Guess it's time to think about liquid sunshine!
Anyone have a favorite Sangria recipe???

A little rain just makes my Airstream look better

Balrgn be prepared to give step by step instructions on Airstream polishing to the folks staying in W30 (that's us!).

I don't mind the rain, our Airtream will be warm and dry - pity the folks in tents and popups!

From the Reserve America Website.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in Massachusetts State campgrounds.

I strictly adhere to no open container laws! Now personally I would not include portable beverage vessels to be a problem.

Kayaks are coming

The kayak holders arrived the other day so now we have to mount them on the truck and we can bring them up with us.

Had to rethink our appetizer plans (we don't have electricity at our site). If anyone has any electricity they want to share I could still make what I was going to. It requires some prep with the panini grill. Otherwise it'll be on crackers. Just kidding.
For the potluck we're bringing a tomato and mozzarella salad w/ a pesto dressing. Same as what we made for the October rally potluck last year, remember we won't have any electricity. Also, I love a good salad.

Don't you just love these new smileys. Anyway, you all have a great week and we'll see you at Salisbury.

Is anyone else hungry? I think we need a food section on the forum...or it could be part of the rally threads....what to cook when in your trailer? What to serve at happy hour?

I love all the smilies too.

So where are you getting the smileys, never mind, they found me.

For the appetizer contest, not that we are competitive....... , I think it will be a surprise....

Need for extra firewood per Pam!

Yes, we will bring extra wood! We have enough in our backyard to burn for 3 winters. So......yes we'll bring as much as our tow vehicle can hold.
