Thanks all for such a great time... Denise was a bit under the weather so we headed home early but enjoyed the time we spent with you all. Nancy, a special thanks for the wonderful job you did organizing the rally... M&M thank you for the use of the hose.. and Gail, it was fun singing with you again.
BTW, you guys won the whale watch scavenger hunt contest!
Meg & Han are thrilled! We all worked on the scavenger hunt answers together and learned a lot doing the whale research!
Gail & Titu -- the girls were also really happy to make new friends with your girls and can't wait for the next rally.
I realize now that there were so many people there that I didn't even meet some of the forum folks -- like Over59 and balrgn. The good news is that we got some quality time in on the trailer this weekend and it should be all ready to go for Scusset Beach and maybe even Quebec. (Yay!) So we'll have plenty of time to meet and spend time with the people we didn't hook up with this weekend.
Thanks 53Flyingcloud, not only for the update but for having the good sense while we were out on the boat to use your cell phone to contact the PCCS and the Coast Guard for the whale watch boat captain when they could not get in touch with them by radio (or their cell phones). I'll never forget this whale encounter.

And here's a skunk smell remedy for our next NE rally
Skunk Smell Remedy:
In a plastic bucket, mix:
1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 - 2 teaspoons liquid soap (like Ivory)
Wash your dog promptly, working the solution deep into the fur (wear gloves). Let your nose guide you - leave the solution on about five minutes or until the odor is gone. Some heavily oiled areas may require a second washing. Keep the solution out of the dog's and your eyes - it really stings. After treatment, thoroughly rinse the dog with tepid tap water. Do not store leftover remedy in an airtight container, it could explode.
