well, after back-tracking 10 miles to get to the "welcome center" (wrong side of the highway) where I was assured that there was a free dump station, I continued another 8 miles north to "Hidden Acres Campground", which let me dump for a $10 fee. That's about $1 per gallon of poop, folks.
Twice that, if you consider the cost of gas for that 36 mile detour.
I knew I should've stopped at Jamaica State Park, which we went right past...they probably would have let me dump there. although, you never know. Places are funny about that. Another time, I had all kinds of trouble finding a place to dump...stopping at several campgrounds just to dump...one wouldn't allow me for *any* amount of money. another wanted to charge me a whole night's camping fee (full-hookup price!) and I simply refused.
Oh, well. live-n-learn. at least I didn't get any on me.

....they brought in a sanitation truck with an attachment that the fella didn't hook up right and told me basically to let r rip and guess what happened.....I'm just glad it was me and not the person behind me....although it would have been pretty entertaining.
